Summary

We are seeking a skilled Web Developer to join our team in Dayton, Ohio. In this role, you will contribute significantly to our mission by developing and maintaining web applications that support critical operations for our defense partners. Your expertise will help us continue to provide exceptional service and innovative solutions.
Responsibilities

• Execute and manage the design, development, and maintenance of www.AFResearchLab.com, www.afrl.af.mil, and other websites (as directed) in support of overarching communication and information dissemination strategy.
• Demonstrate web development capabilities including producing custom functionality, 508 compliance, web security, and SEO.
• Design and implement new features and functionality.
• Establish and guide the website’s architecture.
• Ensure high-performance and availability and manage all technical aspects of the content management system.
• Exhibit experience in WordPress and be proficient in HTML5, PHP CSS3, JavaScript, and aesthetics (understanding element arrangements on the screen, to include color and font), and a strong understanding of industry trends and content management systems.
• Possess experience with responsive and adaptive design and an understanding of the entire web development process including design, development, and deployment.
• Analyze website strategies and translate qualitative or anecdotal data into recommendations and tactics.
• Exhibit knowledge in working with readily available sources of information on the appropriate subjects including library resources and subject-matter experts, and knowledge of publication standards (e.g., Air Force Branding Book, USSF Style Guide, and AFRL Brand Book).

Pay: $67,340.62 - $105,184.40 per year
