Role Summary And Impact
The Programmatic Manager will play a key role in managing and executing programmatic campaigns across MENA. This role focuses on campaign setup, optimization, reporting, and vendor management. The successful candidate will have strong technical expertise across DSPs, excellent data analysis skills, and a collaborative mindset to work seamlessly with the internal stakeholders, WPP teams, and external vendors.


Responsibilities

  • Campaign Execution & Optimization
    End-to-end management of programmatic campaigns across multiple DSPs (DV360, Amazon DSP, The Trade Desk, etc.).
    Translate marketing objectives into effective programmatic strategies.
    Monitor campaign performance daily, optimize in real time, and ensure delivery against KPIs.
    Manage budgets and pacing across campaigns to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Data & Reporting
    Produce clear, actionable reports highlighting insights, performance trends, and optimization recommendations.
    Partner with analytics teams to ensure data accuracy and advanced measurement integration.
    Present performance reviews to internal stakeholders and WPP teams.

  • Vendor & Technology Management
    Manage relationships with key DSPs, publishers, and data providers in MENA.
    Evaluate new technologies, beta opportunities, and innovative formats that can drive campaign performance.
    Negotiate with vendors to ensure access to premium inventory and cost efficiencies.

  • Collaboration & Internal Alignment
    Work closely with planners, and creatives to align programmatic activity with overall strategy.
    Act as the main programmatic point of contact between client teams and campaign management teams.


Desired Skills And Experiences

  • 5+ years' experience in programmatic media buying/execution (agency, DSP, publisher, or ad tech environment).

  • Strong hands on knowledge of DSPs (DV360, Amazon DSP, TTD, etc.).

  • Proven track record in managing large-scale, data driven campaigns.

  • Advanced analytical skills and proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data visualization).

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

  • Familiarity with MENA regional publishers, networks, and data providers.
