Wrapper Operator -2nd Shift

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position reports to the Inspection Supervisor and is responsible for operating finished goods conveyors; ensuring wrappings are correct; entering information and placing material in proper storage containers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for running conveyors that feed wrapping machine.
• Ensure all rolls are wrapped and sealed properly.
• Enter piece and weight, location, etc. into the system.
• Physically place rolls in correct location.
• Change film on wrapper as needed.
• Clean work areas daily.
• Fill in for Inspection Service Operator as needed.
• Perform other duties as required in support of department goals.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school degree or equivalent preferred
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have some ability to work well without close supervision.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain forklift license.
• Prior fabric inspection experience preferred.
• Ability to make low-level decisions.
• Organizational and customer service skills.
• Basic mathematical skills and analysis/problem solving skills preferred.
