X-Ray Technician

Pay Breakdown:
Hourly: $26 on W2
Non Taxable: $1561 weekly
Gross Pay: $2600

50 miles radius rule (candidate within 50 miles not considerable)

2-10pm every other weekend on call * Manager needs travelers with at a minimum of 18 months experience in their field * Experience with GE equipment * Must be comfortable in the OR * 900 bed facility; traveler must have experience necessary to work independently

Responsibilities

• Perform and provide appropriate imaging and treatment processes in accordance with state, federal and professional guidelines
• Maintain all equipment for procedures, assess safety, procedure, physical and physiological comfort of patient
• Monitor need for procedure revisions, coordinate daily imaging procedure, etc
• Other duties as Assigned

Skills:

• 2-3 years’ experience as X-Ray Technician
• Demonstrate knowledge of a variety of imaging equipment including setup, utilization, troubleshooting and proper care of all equipment
• Current knowledge of trends and advances in clinical practice and healthcare informatics, as well as new developments and innovations in hardware and software technology
• Demonstrated initiative, problem identification, resolution and analytical skills are essential as well as excellent oral and written communication skills

Education & Reuirements:

• Graduate of Accredited Radiography School
• NJ State RT License
• ARRT
• BLS Certified

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $2,500.00 - $2,600.00 per week
