X-Ray Technician/Medical Assistant

In the role of a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for the operation of our X-ray equipment and ensuring patients that have Radiology needs are having a high-level, hospitality experience. Must also have the ability to perform Medical Assistant duties.

Location: Van Nuys, CA

Bilingual Spanish/English (strongly preferred)

Responsibilities

Specifically, your duties will include:

• Receiving and reviewing the physician's request for radiographic procedures and identifying the patient prior to conducting scans
• Performing x-rays on a variety of body parts utilizing the appropriate equipment and established standards and procedures
• Producing films of the X-ray and providing it to the requesting physician
• Ensuring images are legibly labeled with correct date and patient identification
• Monitoring the patient's well-being and recognizes patient discomfort or medical problems and takes appropriate action
• Assisting with front desk duties when needed
• Checking inventory, ensuring rooms have adequate supplies, restocking where needed
• Greeting members/patients ensuring they receive a high-level of customer service
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Experience

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program, required
• Current California State Department of Health licensure as a Radiologic Technologist, required
• Limited Techs may apply!
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration, required
• Extraordinary organizational and project management skills; comfortable with EMR systems
• Urgent care experience, strong plus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour
