Yard Technician

Best Rental is a locally owned and family operated business in Fort Collins.

We rent equipment which ranges from small hand tools and lawn and garden equipment to backhoes and telehandlers. We are currently hiring for the position of Yard Technician to help service and instruct customers on use of equipment. We're looking for someone who likes working with their hands and gaining experience and training with a wide variety of equipment and tools. In addition to equipment servicing, you'll have an opportunity to expand your customer service skills and build relationships with both frequent and first time customers. Our main goal is helping customers complete their projects quicker and easier with quality, well maintained equipment and helpful, knowledgeable staff.

On a typical day, you can expect to help customers with instruction on proper usage of equipment and loading of equipment and trailers. We also clean, perform standard maintenance, and light service work on every piece of equipment that comes back from rent helping you learn the ins and outs of our fleet. We may also ask you to drive equipment out to customers or pick up parts from vendors around town

While we are looking for a full time position, we are happy to help work around college schedules where possible. Some experience with equipment maintenance is preferred, but certainly not required. Driver’s license is required.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
