Duties

• Operate a variety of grounds maintenance and landscaping equipment including mowers, trimmers, power tools, irrigation systems, and snow plowing machinery to ensure optimal landscape appearance.
• Perform lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, fertilizing, aerating, and watering to promote healthy turf growth.
• Maintain gardens by planting, pruning, trimming trees and shrubs, removing weeds, and managing plant health through proper identification and care techniques.
• Conduct landscape maintenance activities including hardscape upkeep, planting beds, mulch application, and seasonal clean-up projects.
• Follow safety protocols diligently during all outdoor activities to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment for yourself and team members.
• Assist with tree care including trimming or removal as needed while adhering to proper arboricultural practices.
• Support snow plowing operations during winter months to keep pathways clear and safe for pedestrians.
• Keep yard trash free

Experience

• Previous outdoor work experience in groundskeeping or landscaping is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated mechanical knowledge of landscape maintenance equipment and power tools.
• Familiarity with horticulture principles including plant identification and pest management practices such as pesticide application.
• Knowledge of irrigation systems installation and troubleshooting is a plus.
• Ability to operate grounds maintenance equipment safely while adhering to all safety protocols.
• Strong understanding of landscape maintenance techniques including lawn care, tree trimming, gardening, hardscape upkeep, and snow removal.
• Experience working outdoors in various weather conditions with a proactive attitude towards safety and quality standards.

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
