Job Title: Summer Camp Counselor

About Us:
Coral Bay Club is a private, family-oriented club dedicated to providing exceptional recreational and social experiences for our members. Our summer youth camp is a vibrant, engaging program designed to create lasting memories for children through fun activities, skill-building, and teamwork.

Position Summary:
We are seeking enthusiastic, responsible, and energetic individuals to join our team as Summer Camp Counselors. Counselors will play a key role in creating a safe, fun, and inclusive environment for campers while leading activities and serving as positive role models.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and engage groups of children (ages vary by group) throughout daily camp activities
• Plan and lead games, sports, crafts, and other recreational activities
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers at all times
• Assist with setup, cleanup, and organization of camp events and materials
• Promote teamwork, inclusion, and positive behavior among campers
• Communicate effectively with fellow staff, supervisors, and parents when needed
• Follow all club policies and safety procedures

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 16 years old (or as required by local labor laws)
• Previous experience working with children preferred (camp, babysitting, coaching, etc.)
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Energetic, reliable, and team-oriented attitude
• Ability to work outdoors in summer conditions
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain)
• Must pass background checks

Schedule:

• Seasonal position running from late spring through summer
• Weekdays, weekends, daytime and evenings depending on event
