Duties
- Plan and implement dynamic programs that support childhood development, including arts, sports, theater, and educational activities tailored to various age groups
- Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive behavior management strategies and classroom management techniques
- Ensure safety by maintaining a secure environment, adhering to first aid protocols, and responding promptly to emergencies
- Support children with special education needs by adapting activities and providing individualized attention as needed
- Facilitate tutoring sessions or academic support to help students excel in their studies
- Collaborate with team members to organize camp activities, childcare routines, or daycare programs that promote social skills and emotional well-being
- Engage children in Christian counseling or faith-based activities that nurture moral values and character development
Experience
- Prior experience working with children or in childcare settings such as daycare, camp counseling, babysitting, or tutoring roles
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques and classroom management strategies
- Certification in first aid and CPR is highly preferred to ensure safety during all activities
- Experience working with children with special needs or in inclusive education environments is a plus
- Background in sports coaching, theater arts, or other extracurricular activities that promote teamwork and creativity
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
