If you have experience working with kids as a mentor, tutor, coach, teacher, youth leader, or other role in which you demonstrated a passion for investing in students' future, we want to talk to you.

While we work with students across the country, our immediate openings are:

Location:

San Francisco County
In-person locations (public locations like libraries, museums, etc.)

Schedule:

Flexible hours and days of the week
Bilingual in English and Spanish or English and Cantonese is required

Hours:

Part-time, weeknights and weekends
5-15 hours with the potential for 15+ hours with other in person and virtual work

Pay:

$28-$30 per hour based on experience

In this role, you will:

Mentor Kindergarten-12th grade students
Develop a positive and trusting relationship with your assigned youth/young adult mentee
Help your mentee develop important life skills, such as communication, problem-solving, decision-making, and financial literacy
Participate in fun and engaging activities that align with your mentee's interests
Be a supportive role model and source of encouragement
Document session notes and provide reports to StudentNest and its clients

Please apply only if you:

Can complete the fingerprinting process within 48 hours of an offer
You will pass FBI/DOJ background check
You can provide 3 professional references
You have a minimum of 60 units of college credits
You have at least one year of student-related experience
You are detail-oriented and highly dependable
You are an effective communicator
You have reliable transportation
You can provide a negative tuberculosis test within 2 weeks of being hired
You love learning, teaching, and empowering others to soar
