Youth Transport Specialist

Position Overview

Shelter Care is seeking dedicated and reliable individuals to assist with the transportation of our youth served in our programs. This role involves safely transporting youth ages 11–17 to and from school while maintaining a supportive, respectful, and youth-centered environment. This is a part-time position with split shift scheduling to accommodate before and after school needs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off in company vehicle while maintaining a safe and supportive environment.
• Communicate effectively with program staff regarding transportation schedules and any concerns.
• Adhere to all Shelter Care policies and procedures during transportation duties.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 21 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. This is non-negotiable.
• Must maintain full compliance with criminal background check requirements.
• Ability to work part-time with split shift availability.
