Zoho Presales Consultant

Job Purpose

The Zoho Pre-Sales & Implementation Consultant is responsible for driving solution design, client acquisition support, and end-to-end implementation of Zoho applications across client environments.

This role bridges business requirements and technical execution, ensuring clients adopt scalable, efficient systems aligned with their operational, financial, and compliance needs (including UAE VAT and Corporate Tax frameworks).

The ideal candidate combines strong functional consulting, solution architecture, and client-facing skills with hands-on experience across the Zoho ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

1. Pre-Sales & Solution Consulting

  • Engage with prospective clients to understand business processes, pain points, and system requirements.
  • Conduct solution demonstrations across Zoho suite (CRM, Books, Inventory, Projects, People, Analytics, etc.).
  • Design end-to-end solution architectures tailored to industries (professional services, retail, healthcare, real estate).
  • Prepare proposals, scope documents, and effort estimations.
  • Support sales team in closing deals through technical expertise and consultative selling.
  • Develop use cases, workflows, and ROI-based value propositions.

2. Implementation & Delivery

Lead full-cycle implementations:

  • Requirement gathering workshops
  • Business process mapping
  • System configuration and customization
  • Data migration and validation
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

Configure key Zoho applications:

  • Zoho CRM – pipelines, workflows, automation
  • Zoho Books – invoicing, VAT setup, reporting
  • Zoho Inventory – stock, order management
  • Zoho Projects / Books Projects – milestone billing
  • Zoho People – HR and payroll integration

· Implement workflow automation, blueprints, and Deluge scripting where required.

· Ensure systems are compliant with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax reporting requirements.

3. Integration & Automation

Design and manage integrations between Zoho and third-party platforms:

  • Payment gateways (Stripe, Telr, etc.)
  • POS systems (retail/restaurant)
  • E-commerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce)
  • External invoicing systems / APIs

Work with tools like:

  • Zoho Flow
  • APIs / Webhooks
  • Middleware platforms

4. Client Management & Advisory

  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients on digital transformation initiatives.
  • Provide process improvement recommendations aligned with best practices.
  • Deliver training sessions and user onboarding workshops.
  • Support post-implementation optimization and enhancements.
  • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention.

5. Documentation & Governance

Prepare and maintain:

  • Business Requirement Documents (BRDs)
  • Functional Specifications
  • Process Flow Diagrams
  • User Manuals

· Ensure proper project documentation and version control.

· Adhere to internal project governance and delivery standards.

6. Internal Development & Capability Building

  • Contribute to building Zoho practice capability within the firm.
  • Develop reusable templates, accelerators, and industry-specific solutions.
  • Stay updated with Zoho product updates, certifications, and UAE regulatory changes.
  • Support internal automation and system optimization initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, IT, or Business Management.

· Minimum 3–5 years of experience in:

  • Zoho implementation and consulting
  • ERP / CRM solution delivery

· Strong hands-on experience with:

  • Zoho CRM, Books, Inventory (mandatory)
  • Zoho Flow / Deluge scripting (preferred)

· Experience in UAE market is highly preferred.

· Understanding of:

  • UAE VAT framework
  • Corporate Tax basics (advantage)
