Job description

We are looking for a versatile and proactive IT Support Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate must be an all-rounder with strong technical skills, able to handle day-to-day IT operations, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, support sales staff devices, and assist the IT Manager with various tasks and projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Support & Troubleshooting

• Diagnose and resolve issues related to computers, laptops, printers, scanners, and networked office equipment .
• Provide support for salesman handheld devices , including configuration, updates, and troubleshooting.
• Maintain and troubleshoot security cameras (CCTV) , DVR/NVR systems, and related equipment.

System & Network Support

• Assist with network maintenance , including Wi-Fi, routers, switches, and basic server support.
• Install, configure, and update software and operating systems.
• Ensure proper backup procedures and basic data recovery support.

IT Operations

• Set up new users, configure devices, and maintain IT asset inventory.
• Monitor system performance and escalate issues when needed.
• Assist with IT Manager requests, including documentation, reporting, and project implementation.

Security & Maintenance

• Maintain IT security best practices, including antivirus, patching, and device access control.
• Regularly inspect and maintain hardware to ensure reliability.

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in Information Technology or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS , printers, networking basics, and hardware troubleshooting.
• Experience with CCTV systems and mobile/handheld device support is an advantage.
• Good communication skills and ability to support non-technical users.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.

Preferred Skills:

• Basic knowledge of servers, Office 365, or cloud services.
• Experience in retail or distribution environments (plus point).
• Valid driving license (if site visits are required).
