Director of Operations &ndash; Bus Transport (Hajj &amp; Umrah Fleet)Location:Saudi Arabia - MakkahJob Summary:We are seeking an experienced and highly capable Director of Operations to lead and manage a rapidly growing transport business specializing in Hajj and Umrah services.The company currently operates a fleet of 50+ buses, expanding to 150+ vehicles, and requires a strong operational leader to ensure efficiency, reliability, and full control across all transport activities.This role is responsible for end-to-end operational performance, including fleet management, driver oversight, maintenance, service delivery, and reporting to ownership.Key Responsibilities:Fleet &amp; Operations Management<ul><li>Oversee daily operations of the entire bus fleet across multiple locations</li><li>Ensure maximum fleet utilization and minimal downtime</li><li>Monitor and manage dispatch, scheduling, and route planning</li><li>Implement systems to track daily fleet status, trips, and performance</li></ul>Driver &amp; Staff Management<ul><li>Manage drivers, dispatchers, and operational staff</li><li>Enforce discipline, attendance, and performance standards</li><li>Handle recruitment, training, and performance evaluations</li></ul>Maintenance &amp; Asset Control<ul><li>Ensure all vehicles are maintained to high operational standards</li><li>Implement preventive maintenance schedules</li><li>Reduce breakdowns and operational disruptions</li></ul>Cost &amp; Efficiency Control<ul><li>Monitor fuel consumption and prevent misuse</li><li>Identify inefficiencies and implement cost-saving measures</li><li>Improve revenue per bus and operational margins</li></ul>Reporting &amp; Performance Tracking<ul><li>Establish and maintain real-time reporting systems</li><li>Provide daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports</li><li>Track KPIs such as utilization, downtime, trip completion, and incidents</li></ul>Incident &amp; Risk Management<ul><li>Oversee handling of breakdowns, delays, and customer complaints</li><li>Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements</li><li>Implement corrective actions to prevent recurring issues</li></ul>Client &amp; Service Delivery<ul><li>Ensure high service quality for Hajj and Umrah clients</li><li>Coordinate with agents, partners, and stakeholders</li><li>Maintain strong operational relationships with clients</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Minimum 5 years experience in transport / fleet operations</li><li>Proven experience managing large bus fleets (50+ vehicles minimum)</li><li>Experience in Hajj / Umrah transport operations (highly preferred)</li><li>Strong leadership and team management skills</li><li>Experience implementing operational systems and reporting structures</li><li>Deep understanding of fleet maintenance and logistics</li><li>Ability to manage high-pressure, large-scale seasonal operations</li></ul>Ideal Candidate:<ul><li>Highly structured and data-driven</li><li>Strong problem-solver with hands-on approach</li><li>Able to take full ownership of operations without constant oversight</li><li>Experience scaling transport operations</li></ul>What We Offer:<ul><li>Leadership role in a rapidly growing transport business</li><li>Opportunity to build and structure operations from the ground up</li><li>Competitive salary based on experience</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timeWork Location: In person
