Sales Account Manager – IT Solutions & Cybersecurity

IT AdministratorLocation: Doha, Qatar Employment Type: Full-TimeWe are looking for a skilled and proactive IT Administrator to manage and support the organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring the availability, security, and performance of systems, networks, and end-user devices. Senior Manager &ndash; OT, Automation &amp; SCADAExperience:- 12&ndash;18 years preferred, with strong experience in Automation, SCADA, BMS, ELV/Safety &amp; Security systems, system integration, commissioning, and project delivery.Role SummaryWe are looking for an experienced Manager &ndash; OT, Automation &amp; SCADA to lead engineering, integration, commissioning, documentation, and team coordination for multi-vendor OT systems. The candidate should be capable of managing automation engineers, SCADA application engineers, BMS engineers, ELV/Safety &amp; Security engineers, application engineers, and project engineers.Roles &amp; ResponsibilitiesEngineering &amp; Configuration<ul><li>Lead engineering activities for PLC, SCADA, BMS, ELV/Safety &amp; Security, and OT integration systems.</li><li>Review and approve technical deliverables such as FDS, LLD, I/O list, points list, interface matrix, alarm matrix, testing procedures, as-builts, and O&amp;M documentation.</li><li>Ensure engineering standards, naming conventions, graphics standards, alarm philosophy, and documentation quality are maintained.</li><li>Guide engineers on system configuration, database development, graphics, alarms, trends, reports, and dashboards.</li></ul>Integration &amp; Interfaces<ul><li>Lead multi-vendor system integration across PLC/SCADA/BMS/ELV/OT systems.</li><li>Ensure proper interface design and validation using protocols such as Modbus TCP/RTU, BACnet, OPC UA/DA, Profinet/Profibus, Ethernet/IP, MQTT, API/HTTP, SQL/historian interfaces as applicable.</li><li>Coordinate with OEMs, vendors, ICT/network teams, and internal engineers for interface readiness and issue closure.</li><li>Review and control interface risks, integration dependencies, and third-party system limitations.</li></ul>Testing, Commissioning &amp; Handover<ul><li>Plan and manage FAT, SAT, integrated testing, loop checks, functional testing, failover testing, commissioning, and punch closure.</li><li>Ensure test reports, evidence packs, configuration backups, and handover documents are complete and properly controlled.</li><li>Support site teams during troubleshooting, RCA, and stabilization of systems during commissioning and early operation.</li><li>Ensure final handover is aligned with client/consultant requirements.</li></ul>Project Coordination &amp; Governance<ul><li>Manage and coordinate the OT &amp; Automation team, including task allocation, progress tracking, and technical guidance.</li><li>Conduct internal reviews, technical workshops, vendor meetings, and client/consultant coordination meetings.</li><li>Maintain trackers for deliverables, actions, interface issues, punch points, approvals, and dependencies.</li><li>Support project planning, resource planning, recovery actions, and management reporting.</li><li>Coordinate with sales/proposal teams for technical inputs, BOQ, tender support, and solution review when required.</li></ul>Quality &amp; Compliance<ul><li>Ensure all submissions follow company quality procedures, document control process, revision control, and approval workflow.</li><li>Ensure safe site execution in line with HSE requirements and permit-to-work procedures.</li><li>Maintain proper change control for site modifications, configuration updates, and design revisions.</li><li>Ensure team outputs are technically correct, traceable, and suitable for client/consultant approval.</li></ul>Key Skills<ul><li>Strong leadership in OT, Automation, SCADA, BMS, and ELV system delivery.</li><li>Hands-on understanding of Siemens, Schneider, Rockwell, Mitsubishi, Honeywell, Trend, Niagara, WinCC / WinCC OA, AVEVA, Ignition, ICONICS or similar platforms.</li><li>Strong knowledge of industrial protocols: Modbus, BACnet, OPC, Profinet/Profibus, Ethernet/IP, MQTT, API/HTTP.</li><li>Strong experience in FAT/SAT, commissioning, troubleshooting, RCA, and system handover.</li><li>Excellent coordination with client, consultant, vendors, OEMs, site teams, and management.</li><li>Strong documentation, reporting, planning, and team management skills.</li></ul>Qualification<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Automation, or related engineering discipline.</li></ul>Competitive and commensurate with experience.
