This is a full-time on-site role for a Ticketing Supervisor-Airlines at Al Rais Travel &amp; Shipping Agencies LLC located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Ticketing Supervisor-Airlines will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day ticketing operations, managing reservations, coordinating sales activities, and planning events related to airline travel.

Ticketing Supervisor

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
<ul>
 <li>Evaluate existing business procedures and recommend improvements.</li>
 <li>Generate sales in Group Travel, FIT Hotel and visa from overseas.</li>
 <li>Organize regular meetings with management to discuss about market trends, business updates, and opportunities for growth.</li>
 <li>To update daily &amp; weekly Inbound package sales report</li>
 <li>Be a UAE Destination Specialist and be up to date with city highlights, local events, destination details that will enhance the value proposition of the inbound traveler to Dubai/UAE.</li>
 <li>Plan trips and itineraries that will enhance customer experience and allow the Holiday proposition to be engaging and saleable.</li>
 <li>Be technologically astute in formulating the costing of the destination packages.</li>
 <li>Develop industry partnership and vendor relations with all inbound related services.</li>
 <li>Assist in contracting and identify preferred vendors for all the ground services.</li>
 <li>Perform market search to study consumer behavior, last trends and competitors activities.</li>
 <li>To participate in trade expos/exhibitions/brochure launches or any other promotional event conducted by the tourism board.</li>
 <li>To use only company-approved suppliers/vendors.</li>
 <li>Supervise and guide the inbound team to maximize revenue.</li>
 <li>Evaluate employee performance and develop the individual development plan.</li>
 <li>To continuously source and service new business from existing and new market.</li>
 <li>To oversee and manage the operational activities to support and provide an efficient service delivery for customers.</li>
 <li>To understand the regulatory and compliance issues in relation to inbound activities in UAE</li>
 <li>Any other accountabilities extended by the management in Al Rais Group.</li>
</ul>
 
Skills/Qualifications
Bachelor degree/Diploma/Certification in Travel &amp; Tourism
Minimum of five years experience in the inbound fields
Computer literate in MS Office &amp; Windows&amp; booking system
Planning, organizing, strategic thinking, and analytical skills

Sales Executive

Handling incoming travel request (booking tickets, hotels, transfer &amp; etc) by email &amp; phone.
 Research various destinations and means of travel regarding fares, customs, weather conditions &amp; etc.
 Follow client s process of ordering tickets/services.
 Follow process of seeking appropriate approval s before offering services.
 Actively up-selling and cross selling of our various products
 Diagnose the client s specifications and wishes and suggest suitable travel packages
 To promote special IT &amp; Corporate fares for all packages to maximize profits.
 To provide feedback on the daily operational processes and commercial relationship with key personnel.
 To comply with company regulations while making the itinerary.
 To use only company approved suppliers/vendors.
 
Skills/Qualifications
IATA certificate
Other relevant supporting certificates related to leisure travel &amp; auxiliary courses
Computer literate in MS Office &amp; Windows
Planning, organizing, strategic thinking and analytical skills
Able to use GDS for flights booking, online hotels &amp; rail booking systems for other ground arrangement bookings
Minimum of 3 years experience in travel or airline industry
Competencies
To tailor make and customise trip plans, itineraries for Business/Holidays packages as per clientele requirements.
Geographical knowledge
Knowledge on varies Business/Holidays destination in the world.
Negotiation &amp; persuasion skills with clients and vendors
Complexity Need more exposure to popular Business/Holidays destination to work with clientele. To keep up to date information on travel documentation, local customs and other travel related information. Multilanguage skill.
