SummaryWe are seeking passionate and experienced Music Teachers to lead after-schoolelementary Band and/or Strings classes in Fountain Valley or surrounding areas. Teacherswill work with students in grades 3&ndash;5, providing high-quality music instruction in bothgroup and ensemble settings. Classes run twice a week after school (approximately 2:30&ndash;3:30 PM) and operate from October through May/June, following the school calendar.Teachers prepare students for three public performances during the school year.Instruments to TeachBand: Flute, Clarinet, Alto Saxophone, Trumpet, Trombone, PercussionStrings: Violin, Viola, CelloResponsibilities<ul><li>Deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate music instruction for elementary</li></ul>students<ul><li>Teach note reading, music theory, ensemble skills, and proper instrument</li></ul>technique<ul><li>Conduct rehearsals and prepare students for performances</li></ul><ul><li>Differentiate instruction to accommodate varying skill levels and instruments</li></ul><ul><li>Foster a positive, inclusive, and motivating classroom environment</li></ul><ul><li>Manage classroom behavior and maintain a safe, organized learning space</li></ul><ul><li>Communicate effectively with program staff, parents, and school personnel</li></ul><ul><li>Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedbackMinimum Requirements</li></ul><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree (or current enrollment) in Music Education, Performance, or</li></ul>related field<ul><li>Minimum of two years of experience teaching children instrumental music</li></ul><ul><li>Ability to read music fluently and conduct in 4/4, 3/4, and 2/4 time signatures</li></ul><ul><li>Knowledge of proper playing techniques and care for band or string instruments</li></ul><ul><li>Strong classroom management and communication skills</li></ul><ul><li>Reliable, organized, and punctual</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Previous experience teaching in a group or ensemble setting</li></ul><ul><li>Knowledge of developmental learning strategies for elementary-age students</li></ul><ul><li>Ability to lead performances and coordinate with accompanists or ensembles</li></ul>Additional Requirements<ul><li>Live Scan fingerprinting (through Arts &amp; Learning Conservatory)</li></ul><ul><li>TB test</li></ul><ul><li>CPR certification</li></ul><ul><li>Sexual Harassment &amp; Bullying training (provided by ALC)</li></ul><ul><li>Mandated Reporter Training (provided by ALC)</li></ul>Benefits<ul><li>Employee assistance program</li></ul><ul><li>Professional development support</li></ul><ul><li>Flexible part-time schedule aligned with the school year</li></ul>Pay: $35.00 per hourExpected hours: 3.0 &ndash; 10.0 per weekWork Location: In person

JOB SUMMARY:We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled KPOP Pop Dance Teacher to lead engaging and high-energy dance classes for students of varying ages and skill levels. The ideal candidate is passionate about dance, enjoys working with youth, and can foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>Teach K-Pop choreography and foundational dance techniques in an age-appropriate, engaging way.</li><li>Plan and lead structured classes that include warm-up, technique, choreography, and cool-down.</li><li>Introduce students to popular K-Pop routines and artists, while encouraging creativity and individual expression.</li><li>Prepare students for performances, showcases, or special events as needed</li><li>Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment</li><li>Stay up-to-date on K-Pop trends and incorporate them into class plans</li><li>Communicate regularly with program staff and provide student progress updates</li><li>Ensure a safe and supportive space for all students</li><li>Plan and deliver age-appropriate dance lessons in styles such as hip hop, jazz, K-Pop, contemporary, or other relevant genres.</li><li>Teach proper technique, rhythm, coordination, and performance skills</li><li>Encourage creativity and self-expression through dance</li><li>Prepare students for performances, showcases, or events as needed</li><li>Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive and respectful environment</li><li>Communicate effectively with students, staff, and families</li><li>Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times</li><li>Track student progress and provide feedback when necessary</li></ul>QUALIFICATIONS &amp; SKILLS:<ul><li>Prior experience teaching dance to youth or in a group setting</li><li>Strong background in one or more dance styles</li><li>Ability to engage, inspire, and manage a classroom</li><li>Reliable, punctual, and professional</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team</li><li>CPR/First Aid certification (preferred, but not required)</li></ul>Preferred:<ul><li>Experience working in after-school programs, schools, or community centers</li><li>Choreography experience for student performances</li><li>Bilingual abilities (depending on community needs)</li></ul>Pay: $30.00 per hourExpected hours: 3.0 &ndash; 10.0 per weekWork Location: In person
