Overview Parsons is seeking a Quantity Surveyor / Senior (Roads and Infrastructure) to estimate costs and manage budgets for Roads, infrastructure and landscaping projects. What You'll Be Doing <ul><li>Estimating costs and managing the projects' budgets.</li><li>Determining initial project costs and monitoring progress to ensure work is completed to a high standard and within budget.</li><li>Reviewing claims and preparing the proper submittals.</li><li>Reviewing monthly invoices of the contractor's KPI and preparing the proper submittals.</li><li>Keeping up-to-date assets control records.</li><li>Handling related Variation Orders activities.</li><li>Managing post-contract QS functions, including interim and final payments, variations, commercial and contractual correspondence, cash flows, and claims.</li><li>Advising on contractual matters and ensuring completeness and validity of contractual requirements.</li><li>Advising on Contractor's resource allocation and carrying/verifying remeasurement works.</li><li>Auditing payments to Contractors and ensuring prompt submittal and completeness of valuations.</li><li>Checking and recording measures of work done; preparing variations and day-works; reviewing, negotiating and preparing claim settlements.</li><li>Coordinating and monitoring activities of the QS team; preparing financial statements for monthly reports.</li></ul> What Required Skills You'll Bring <ul><li>Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or similar.</li><li>Minimum of 8 years of experience in quantity surveying and contract administration of roads and maintenance works.</li><li>Proficiency in CESMME and FIDIC.</li><li>Ability to perform standard estimating activities typical to the engineering and construction industry.</li><li>Clear understanding of construction contract commercial documents, drawings and specifications.</li><li>Familiarity with typical project controls software and DMCS (Document and Materials Control System).</li></ul>Parsons is an equal opportunity employer. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Control (QC) Inspector to ensure all construction activities on Tour project in KSA strictly adhere to project specifications, international standards, and local regulatory requirements. The inspector will be responsible for conducting rigorous inspections, documenting compliance, and proactively identifying and resolving non-conformance issues across various construction disciplines. Key Responsibilities <ul> <li>Conduct daily, weekly, and final inspections of all construction activities including Civil, Structural, Architectural (CSA), Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works.</li> <li>Verify that materials, installation methods, and workmanship comply with approved project plans, specifications, ITPs (Inspection and Test Plans), and relevant codes.</li> <li>Prepare and issue detailed Inspection Requests (IRs) and hold/witness inspections with the Client/Contractor representatives.</li> <li>Identify, document, and track Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), ensuring prompt and effective corrective and preventative actions are implemented.</li> <li>Maintain accurate, complete, and auditable records of all quality control documentation, including test results, inspection reports, and certifications.</li> <li>Collaborate with the construction, engineering, and project management teams to uphold a high standard of quality and safety on site.</li> </ul> Required Qualifications <ul> <li>Minimum 5 years of verifiable experience in Quality Control inspection within large-scale, complex construction projects (infrastructure, high-rise buildings, or industrial projects preferred).</li> <li>Demonstrated experience working on mega-projects is highly desirable.</li> <li>Relevant technical degree or diploma (e.g., Civil Engineering, Construction Management) or equivalent certification (e.g., CSWIP, NACE, ASNT Level II).</li> <li>Strong knowledge of international quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001) and industry-specific codes.</li> <li>Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to prepare clear, concise technical reports.</li> </ul> Parsons equally employs representation at all job levels no matter the race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability or genetic information.
