Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and demonstrate exceptional patient care skills. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and providing high-quality nursing care in various settings, including Assisted living facilities and nursing homes.Duties<ul><li>Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on medical history and clinical findings.</li><li>Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.</li><li>Monitor patient vital signs and report any significant changes to the healthcare team.</li><li>Provide education to patients and families regarding health management and disease prevention.</li><li>Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.</li><li>Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.</li><li>Assist in procedures such as IV insertion, catheterization, suturing, and emergency interventions.</li><li>Participate in discharge planning and coordinate follow-up care for patients.</li><li>Uphold infection control standards and ensure a safe environment for patients.</li></ul>Skills The successful candidate will have experience or proficiency in the following areas:<ul><li>Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks EMR systems</li><li>Cardiac catheterization, dialysis, IV infusion, and medication administration</li><li>Medical office experience with knowledge of ICD-9/ICD-10 coding</li><li>Patient assessment skills with a focus on geriatrics and senior care</li><li>Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in memory care settings</li><li>Knowledge of hospice &amp; palliative medicine, acute pain management, and behavioral health</li><li>Proficient in phlebotomy, specimen collection/processing, and basic life support techniques</li><li>Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and physiology knowledge</li><li>Strong communication skills for effective patient education and collaboration with healthcare teams</li></ul>Join us in making a difference in the lives of our patients through compassionate care and professional excellence.Job Types: Travel nursing, ContractPay: $42.00 - $50.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Flexible schedule</li></ul>Work Location: In person
