Job Purpose: 
You will lead the financial stewardship of our projects&mdash;planning, controlling, forecasting, and reporting costs to ensure projects are delivered on budget, to quality, and on time. Working across all project phases, you&rsquo;ll be a trusted advisor to internal teams, clients, and contractors. 
 
What you will be doing: 
Project Cost Management (Pre&#8209; &amp; Post&#8209;Contract)<ul><li>
Develop and update cost plans through design milestones; drive value-engineering and commercial input into design options</li><li>
Evaluate bids, support negotiations with contractors/subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing</li><li>
Perform cost control, quantity surveying, change management, claims and valuations across the project lifecycle</li><li>
Produce monthly cost reports, forecasts, cash flow analyses, earned value reviews, and final accounts benchmarking</li></ul>
Cost Control &amp; Reporting<ul><li>
Implement and maintain cost control systems: track budgets, commitments, actual spend, and forecast</li><li>
Prepare and validate contractor invoices prior to client finance system submission</li><li>
Build and maintain comprehensive cost reports and dashboards; reconcile data to support audit trails</li><li>
Support change management and evaluate financial impact of scope variations</li></ul>
 Scheduling &amp; Forecasting<ul><li>
Assist in schedule validation and integration with cost forecasts</li><li>
Provide financial risk analysis, scenario planning, and value engineering to inform decision-making</li><li>
Extract and manipulate large datasets, developing automated tools and Excel models for rapid and accurate insights</li></ul>
Stakeholder Collaboration<ul><li>
Guide project teams on cost strategies, communicate variances, and escalate risks/opportunities</li><li>
Liaise daily with project managers, procurement, Finance/Accounting, PMO, contractors, and clients</li><li>
Train project personnel on cost processes and tools to ensure consistent application</li></ul>
Continuous Improvement &amp; Compliance<ul><li>
Embed best practices in cost management; stay current with industry trends, regulation, and benchmarking</li><li>
Ensure all processes comply with governance frameworks, producing clean audit trails and accurate final accounts.</li></ul>
What you will bring: 
 
Education: Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent. 
 
Experience: 7+ years in cost control or quantity surveying within construction, infrastructure, or real estate&mdash;pre and post-contract phases. 
 
Technical Skills: Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP, advanced Excel, earned value management, cost reporting, forecasting. 
 
Certifications: RICS/CICES, PMP, AACE, CPA/CMA preferred. 
 
Knowledge Base: Understanding of contract forms (e.g., NEC, ECC), cost breakdown schedules, procurement, value engineering. 
 
Soft Skills: Excellent communicator, strong stakeholder management, analytical thinker with attention to detail.</div>

Cost Manager (Cairo, Egypt)

<div>Job Purpose: 
To manage Facility Services as assigned by Site Facility manager 
Job Location: Cairo, Egypt 
Key Tasks: 
<ul><li>Act as a local support / backfill to the site lead</li><li>Cover the reception / host function when needed.</li><li>Training &amp; monthly recaps with office / tea boys and cleaners to perform Daily checks of meeting rooms and office successfully and reporting failures and faults in a timely manner.</li><li>Walk through the office on scheduled inspections.</li><li>Ensuring all SI7 Requests and issues are closed in a timely manner with regular updates to management.</li><li>Maintain security and safety standards as required at all locations also compliant with Uber security policies, ensuring that visitors are escorted, and contractors do not have access to areas without the appropriate authorization or supervision.</li><li>Familiar with all emergency prevention and operational controls and processes.</li><li>Report all accidents, occupational illnesses and emergencies through the online tool and training all subcontractors on site to do the same.</li><li>Quality control in all areas within each office, and report any issues to FM</li><li>Support with the supervision of receptionists and office assistants at all locations.</li><li>Control of storerooms and stock and monthly orders and deliveries at all locations. All delivery and stock control documents are in order and compliant.</li><li>Manage consumables at all locations, tracking when it's needed and how to minimize excess usage.</li><li>Support FM Manager with management of all services at all locations (I.e. Soft Services, Hard Services, Security, HSE, &hellip;etc)</li><li>Supplier management: Control on delivery only with PO. Invoice matching to PO for each CBRE Supplier and
</li></ul>submission of supplier invoices in a timely manner. 
<ul><li>Financials: CBRE invoice submission and control on aged debt report. Ensure correct monthly billing across all sites.
</li></ul>Be commercially aware and have a sound knowledge of cost controls and daily financial planning. 
<ul><li>Ensure opportunities for additional works are realized.
</li><li>Ensure CBRE preferred suppliers are utilised.</li><li>Coordinates and manages daily staff meal orders for all locations.</li><li>Required to perform additional duties i.e. CBRE SSR uploads, Report Meter reading data from all offices to FM, EHS reporting documents reporting online and documents filed at each office, Monthly data with waste information updated
</li></ul>monthly. Support FM Manager with Continuous Improvement Tracker updates and ideas. 
<ul><li>Utilities tracking completed in a timely manner: Submission to Uber when required.</li><li>Supplier management focuses on savings each month.</li><li>Assignment management, (require competitive vendor quotes, PO&rsquo;s approved and created, CBRE PO created and closed, CBRE Invoice submitted and CBRE Vendor invoice submitted with GR of PO.)</li><li>Understanding account budgets and savings plans for the year working closely with FM Manager to achieve all targets.</li></ul>
Experience and Qualifications: 
<ul><li>A bachelor's degree in any discipline</li><li>Very good command of both Arabic and English languages</li><li>Good Computer skills</li><li>Administration and financial experience</li><li>Leadership skills and proactive reaction</li><li>Computer literate Preferably some data entry experience</li><li>Extremely Presentable</li><li>Good basic education (Degree preferred, not essential)</li><li>Experience in a customer facing role - min 1 year</li><li>Environment, Health and Safety: Follow all Health &amp; Safety and Environmental requirements that are defined on work instructions or communicated in training. Follow required emergency prevention and operational controls.
