We&rsquo;re currently seeking a <b>full-time Facility Maintenance Technician I</b> to join our dynamic Facility Maintenance Division. This is your opportunity to make a real impact&mdash;helping to maintain and improve the structural integrity and safety of the city buildings that serve our community every day.</div><div><br>

What You&rsquo;ll Be Doing:</b></div><div>
As a key member of our team, you&rsquo;ll be responsible for a variety of maintenance and repair tasks, working directly to support the function and appearance of city facilities&mdash;from minor renovations to routine upkeep.<br>
</div><div><b>Duties include, but are not limited to:</b></div><ul>
<li>Performing structural maintenance and repair work, including light construction.</li>
<li>Locksmith services, including installation, repair, and replacement of locks and door hardware.</li>
<li>Sheetrock and drywall installation, finishing, and repair.</li>
<li>Trim carpentry, including installation and repair of baseboards, crown molding, and other finish work.</li>
<li>Flooring repair and installation for a variety of surfaces.</li>
<li>Door and window repair, adjustment, and replacement.</li>
<li>Repairing shingle and built-up roofing systems.</li>
<li>Completing small-scale structural modifications during building renovations.</li>
<li>Overseeing and inspecting work performed by contractors to ensure quality and compliance.</li>
<li>Maintaining detailed records and managing material purchases for assigned projects.</li></ul><p></p><div><br>

Requires high school diploma or GED and any combination of education and experience equivalent to satisfactory completion of one year of college education.<br>

In addition to satisfying the vocational/education standards, this class requires a minimum of six months of related, full-time equivalent experience.
