We&rsquo;re Hiring: Senior Technical Lead / Senior Full Stack DeveloperLocation: Karachi / Hybrid Type: Full-time Experience Level: Senior 8 years + ExperienceRole overviewWe are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Lead / Senior Full Stack Developer to own technical architecture, lead implementation, and manage a small cross-functional engineering team. This is a hands-on leadership role covering backend, mobile/web frontends, integrations, DB design, security, and the delivery pipeline.Key responsibilities<ul><li>Architect, build, and maintain scalable software systems (frontend, backend, DB, integrations).</li><li>Lead, mentor, and manage a multi-skilled development team.</li><li>Design and implement secure, reliable APIs and backend services.</li><li>Oversee mobile and web app development and ensure consistent UX implementation.</li><li>Integrate and manage third-party services (payment gateways, identity/KYC providers, notification providers, etc.).</li><li>Implement and manage payment transaction flows, webhooks, and reconciliation logic.</li><li>Ensure security, privacy, and compliance best practices (data protection, secure storage, tokenization).</li><li>Establish CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, deployments, and monitoring.</li><li>Document system architecture, APIs, and operational runbooks.</li><li>Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical plans and delivery timelines.</li></ul>Required technical skills &amp; experience<ul><li>8+ years in full-stack development with demonstrable leadership of small teams.</li><li>Backend: Node.js (Express/NestJS) or Python (Django / FastAPI) &mdash; strong API design skills.</li><li>Frontend / Mobile: React, React Native, or Flutter &mdash; practical experience shipping mobile applications.</li><li>Databases: PostgreSQL / MySQL and experience with a NoSQL option (MongoDB / Firebase).</li><li>Cloud &amp; DevOps: AWS / GCP / DigitalOcean; Docker; CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI or equivalent).</li><li>Security: API security, tokenization, TLS, secure key management, and general system hardening.</li><li>Payments / FinTech: Direct, hands-on experience integrating payment gateways (e.g., Stripe, Braintree, Adyen, PayPal, or regional gateways). Experience implementing Payment Intents, tokenization, webhooks, refunds, dispute handling, and multi-party (marketplace) flows (e.g., Stripe Connect) is required.</li><li>Experience with third-party identity/KYC providers (e.g., Onfido, Trulioo, Jumio) and handling KYC workflows is highly desirable.</li><li>Strong proficiency with version control (Git) and engineering best practices (code review, testing, release management).</li></ul>Preferred / nice-to-have<ul><li>Prior experience in FinTech, payments, or marketplace platforms.</li><li>Familiarity with PCI-DSS implications and secure card-data handling patterns (even if using hosted/tokenized flows).</li><li>Experience with event-driven systems, message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ), or serverless architectures.</li><li>UI/UX tooling familiarity (Figma, Adobe XD) and ability to guide implementation fidelity.</li><li>Prior startup / early product-stage experience (MVP to production).</li></ul>Soft skills<ul><li>Strong ownership, communication, and stakeholder management.</li><li>Comfortable making architectural trade-offs in an early-stage product environment.</li><li>Mentoring and growing a small technical team; hands-on with code and reviews.</li></ul>What we offer<ul><li>Leadership role with meaningful technical ownership.</li><li>Flexible hybrid work and competitive compensation.</li><li>Opportunity to build and manage a focused engineering team.</li></ul>How to applyEmail your resume / LinkedIn / GitHub and a short note describing your payments/gateway integration experience and any relevant projects to afshan.iqbal@conurets.comJob Type: Full-time
