We're Hiring: Senior SQA Engineer. CronySoft is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior SQA Engineer to join our dynamic team! As a senior member of the QA department, you will take ownership of designing and executing robust testing strategies, mentoring junior QA engineers, and ensuring the highest quality standards across all projects.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Collaborate with UI designers, development team, product managers, stake-holders throughout the SDLC to identify, mitigate, and manage risks proactively.</li><li>Lead the design, development, and execution of test strategies and comprehensive test plans covering functionality, usability, performance, and security.</li><li>Write and review high-quality, well-documented test cases for both manual and automated testing.</li><li>Leverage advanced SQL/database testing skills to validate data integrity, stored procedures, and performance.</li><li>Implement, optimize, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).</li><li>Conduct API testing (Postman, REST Assured) and integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.</li><li>Ensure integration of QA processes with Agile/Scrum methodologies for seamless project delivery.</li><li>Mentor and guide junior QA engineers, reviewing their test cases and automation scripts.</li><li>Champion best practices in QA manual, test automation driving continuous improvement of testing frameworks.</li><li>Identify and report security vulnerabilities using penetration testing techniques (a plus).</li><li>Perform performance, load, and stress testing using tools like JMeter, Locust, or Gatling.</li><li>Stay updated with emerging QA tools, techniques, and technologies, recommending adoption where beneficial.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>5+ years of hands-on experience in software QA, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead capacity.</li><li>Proven expertise in both manual and automated testing methodologies.</li><li>Strong knowledge of algorithms, problem-solving, and logical reasoning applied in test design.</li><li>Solid understanding of SQL, scripting, and programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#).</li><li>Experience with testing mobile applications (iOS/Android).</li><li>Experience in defining and updating QA processes, procedures, and documentation.</li><li>Familiarity with performance and security testing methodologies.</li><li>Strong analytical and debugging skills with the ability to identify root causes of complex issues.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.</li><li>Ability to work independently and lead QA efforts within cross-functional teams.</li><li>A passion for quality, innovation, and continuous improvement.</li></ul>Why Join CronySoft?<ul><li>Competitive salary package (in PKR) with performance-based bonuses.</li><li>Collaborative work culture with opportunities to lead and mentor.</li><li>Exposure to diverse projects.</li><li>Professional growth opportunities.</li></ul>Ready to Join the CronySoft Team?If you are passionate about software quality and possess the expertise to lead QA initiatives, we encourage you to apply!Please submit your resume at recruiter@cronysoft.comJob Type: Full-timeWork Location: In person
