 We are currently seeking candidates for a Junior Staff Accountant role with a highly respected financial services organization located in Boston, MA. The Junior Staff Accountant will be responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations, assisting with financial reporting activities, and supporting billing and invoice-related processes within a fast-paced corporate environment. The ideal candidate will have 1&ndash;2 years of accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and exceptional attention to detail.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 This is a 6-month contract position paying between $24-$25/hour (depending on experience).
 
 
 
 This role supports a hybrid work model in Boston, Massachusetts

 Responsibilities:
 
 
 
 
 &bull; Support daily accounting operations, including financial record maintenance and reconciliations.
 
 
 &bull; Assist with general ledger activities, account analysis, and supporting documentation preparation.
 
 
 &bull; Participate in month-end closing activities and financial reporting processes.
 
 
 &bull; Review invoices, billing documentation, and accrual-related data for accuracy and completeness.

 Qualifications:
 
 
 
 
 &bull; Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
 
 
 &bull; 1&ndash;2 years of accounting, finance, billing, or related professional experience.
 
 
 &bull; Understanding of general accounting principles and financial processes.
 
 
 &bull; Strong Microsoft Excel and overall Microsoft Office proficiency.
 
 
 &bull; Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills.
 
 
 &bull; Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

The Administrative Assistant will provide comprehensive administrative support to 2-3 senior leaders. Core responsibilities include managing complex calendars, travel arrangements (domestic/international), meeting preparation and coordination, internal/external correspondence, vendor relations, and expense reporting.
