Join us in shaping the future of electronics, where innovation and customer satisfaction guide our journey.Job Summary:The Inventory Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of inventory control and management within our PCB manufacturing facility. This role involves coordinating with various departments, optimizing inventory processes, and ensuring adequate stock levels to support production schedules and customer demand. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inventory management, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Develop and implement inventory management policies, procedures, and best practices to optimize inventory accuracy, minimize stockouts, and reduce carrying costs.</li></ul><ul><li>Coordinate with purchasing, production, and shipping departments to forecast inventory requirements and maintain adequate stock levels of raw materials, components, and finished goods.</li></ul><ul><li>Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and reconcile discrepancies in a timely manner.</li></ul><ul><li>Utilize inventory management software systems (e.g., ERP, MRP) to track inventory levels, monitor stock movements, and generate reports on inventory status, usage, and trends.</li></ul><ul><li>Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to negotiate pricing, lead times, and terms of supply agreements, and ensure timely delivery of materials.</li></ul><ul><li>Develop and implement inventory replenishment strategies, including reorder point calculations, safety stock levels, and economic order quantity (EOQ) analysis.</li></ul><ul><li>Monitor and analyze inventory turnover ratios, aging of inventory, and obsolete or excess stock, and implement strategies to minimize inventory carrying costs and optimize inventory turnover.</li></ul><ul><li>Collaborate with production planners to schedule production runs, prioritize work orders, and allocate materials based on production requirements and customer demand.</li></ul><ul><li>Develop and maintain documentation related to inventory management processes, including inventory records, receiving and shipping logs, and inventory valuation reports.</li></ul><ul><li>Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings in inventory management operations, and lead initiatives to implement efficiency enhancements and best practices.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.</li></ul><ul><li>3 years of experience in inventory management or materials management, preferably in a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of inventory control principles and best practices.</li></ul><ul><li>Proficiency in inventory management software systems (e.g., ERP, MRP) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.</li></ul><ul><li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize inventory performance.</li></ul><ul><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.</li></ul><ul><li>Proven leadership abilities, with experience managing a team of inventory control specialists or material handlers.</li></ul><ul><li>Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.</li></ul><ul><li>Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.</li></ul>Benefits:<ul><li>Flexible Working Hours</li></ul><ul><li>Paid Leaves</li></ul><ul><li>Yearly Bonus</li></ul><ul><li>Provident Fund</li></ul><ul><li>Medical Insurance</li></ul><ul><li>Professional development opportunities</li></ul><ul><li>Collaborative and innovative work environment</li></ul>How to Apply:Interested candidates should submit their resume, cover letter, and portfolio (if applicable) to hr@discrete.co.in .
