This is a 1-year contract position with the strong possibility of becoming a full-time hire based on performance. You&rsquo;ll be assigned to specific retail and e-commerce accounts and play a key part in driving sales growth and execution.What You&rsquo;ll Do<ul><li>Account Partnership: Support specific accounts with tailored strategies and initiatives to maximize sales performance.</li><li>Sales Strategy &amp; Assortment: Research market trends and competitors, develop product assortment recommendations, and prepare strategies to support account growth.</li><li>Pitch &amp; Deal Support: Collaborate with sales managers to prepare presentations, materials, and insights that help close deals.</li><li>Daily Sales Operations: Assist with day-to-day sales activities including e-commerce tasks, assisting retail customers, and coordination with internal teams.</li><li>Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with our product development and Asia-based sourcing teams to bring products from idea to shelf.</li></ul>What We&rsquo;re Looking For<ul><li>2+ years of sales support, account management, or related experience (retail, consumer products, or e-commerce preferred).</li><li>Strong analytical and research skills&mdash;able to translate market data into actionable recommendations.</li><li>Excellent communication skills and a proactive, detail-oriented work style.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Bonus: experience with e-commerce platforms, packaging design, or retail merchandising.</li><li>Ambition to grow into a client-facing sales manager career path - we're looking for someone who sees this role as a launchpad.</li></ul>Job Type: ContractPay: $19.00 - $30.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Paid training</li></ul>Work Location: In person

Position SummaryThe Retail Sales Lighting Manager is responsible for driving sales growth, managing retail accounts, and expanding GT-Lite&rsquo;s presence in the lighting category. This role involves leading customer relationships, executing sales strategies, coordinating product launches, and ensuring profitability for GT brand as well as private label salesKey ResponsibilitiesAccount Management &amp; Sales Growth<ul><li>Manage and grow retail accounts (Menards, Lowe&rsquo;s, Home Depot, Target, Costco etc.).</li><li>Develop and execute strategies to achieve revenue and margin goals in the retail lighting category.</li><li>Negotiate pricing, promotions, displays, and terms with buyers and merchants.</li><li>Monitor competitive activity and adjust strategies to maintain GT-Lite&rsquo;s price-point advantage.</li></ul>Business Development<ul><li>Identify new retail channels and partnership opportunities (big box, club stores, discount retailers, regional chains).</li><li>Work with marketing and product teams to position GT-Lite products for maximum shelf presence and sell-through.</li><li>Drive promotional and seasonal programs to increase retail sales volume.</li></ul>Merchandising &amp; Category Management<ul><li>Collaborate with retailers on planograms, displays, and marketing initiatives.</li><li>Provide insights into customer buying behavior and recommend product assortments.</li><li>Ensure GT-Lite products are well represented both in-store and online (retailer.com).</li></ul>Cross-Functional Leadership<ul><li>Partner with the product development team to align new lighting solutions with retail needs.</li><li>Work with operations and logistics to ensure on-time delivery and inventory management.</li><li>Coordinate with marketing for packaging, branding, and promotional materials.</li></ul>Performance &amp; Reporting<ul><li>Track sales performance and provide detailed reporting on account growth, pricing, and market trends.</li><li>Forecast sales and manage budgets for retail accounts.</li><li>Present updates to executive leadership on progress toward revenue and margin targets.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>5+ years of retail sales experience in lighting, electrical, or home improvement categories.</li><li>Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.</li><li>Proven track record of achieving sales growth in retail environments.</li><li>Familiarity with retail programs such as product line reviews, planograms and promotional calendars.</li><li>Excellent analytical, presentation, and communication skills.</li><li>Ability to travel domestically for buyer meetings, trade shows, and store visits.</li></ul>Success Metrics<ul><li>Growth of retail account revenue and market share.</li><li>Achievement of profit margin targets.</li><li>Successful execution of promotional programs and product launches.</li><li>Increased shelf space and online placement for GT-Lite products.</li><li>Strong, collaborative retailer relationships built on trust and performance.</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, ContractBase Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
