Job descriptionSourcing &amp; Procurement -FMCG IndustryWe are looking for an experienced Sourcing &amp; Procurement Specialist to join our team in the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) industry. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the procurement processes, supplier management, and cost optimization strategies specific to the FMCG sector. This role involves managing the end-to-end sourcing process, ensuring quality, cost-efficiency, and timely delivery of materials and products.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Supplier Management:</li><li>Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers for raw materials, packaging, and other FMCG-related products.</li><li>Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure consistent quality and supply.</li><li>Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings and favorable conditions.</li><li>Sourcing Strategy:</li><li>Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.</li><li>Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, price fluctuations, and alternative sourcing options.</li><li>Optimize the supply chain to reduce costs while maintaining product quality and supply reliability.</li><li>Procurement Operations:</li><li>Manage the procurement process from purchase order creation to delivery, ensuring timely and accurate execution.</li><li>Collaborate with internal teams, including production, logistics, and finance, to align procurement activities with business needs.</li><li>Monitor inventory levels and ensure that all materials are sourced efficiently to meet production schedules.</li><li>Cost Management:</li><li>Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement within the sourcing and procurement function.</li><li>Analyze spend data and develop strategies to reduce procurement costs without compromising quality.</li><li>Prepare and present regular reports on procurement performance, cost savings, and supplier performance.</li><li>Compliance &amp; Risk Management:</li><li>Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and legal requirements in all procurement activities.</li><li>Assess and mitigate risks associated with sourcing and procurement, including supplier reliability and geopolitical factors.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of all procurement transactions and supplier agreements.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Food Technologist , Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.</li><li>Proven experience in sourcing and procurement, preferably in the FMCG industry.</li><li>Strong negotiation skills and a deep understanding of contract management.</li><li>Knowledge of supply chain management principles and best practices.</li><li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>Experience with international sourcing and working with global suppliers.</li><li>Knowledge of sustainable sourcing practices and ethical procurement standards.</li></ul>Speak with the employer +91 9566269922Job Type: Full-timePay: &#8377;25,000.00 - &#8377;30,000.00 per monthWork Location: In person
