Position Description:

Oversee daily operations in a manufacturing facility, ensuring production goals are met efficiently and safely. Supervise staff, coordinate production schedules, maintain equipment, and enforce safety regulations. 


Responsibilities:
<ul><li>
Monitor production schedules and workflows to optimize efficiency.</li><li>
Efficiently address work quality issues, employee conflicts, and other workplace concerns in a timely manner.</li><li>
Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations.</li><li>
Conduct performance reviews, motivate team members, and devise strategies to enhance productivity.</li><li>
Serve as a liaison between floor employees and upper management.</li><li>
Maintain accurate timekeeping and personnel records.</li><li>
Oversee daily operations within the manufacturing facility.</li><li>
Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of machinery and equipment.</li><li>
Manage and train production personnel, fostering a collaborative team environment.</li><li>
Implement process improvements to minimize costs and elevate production quality.</li><li>
Prepare and review operational reports and schedules for accuracy and efficiency.</li><li>
Ensure the safety of operations and adherence to health and environmental regulations.</li><li>
Perform all other assigned duties.</li></ul> 


Key Requirements:
<ul><li>
High school diploma or equivalent, plus two (2) years of college preferred.</li><li>
Three (3) or more years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.</li><li>
Exceptional attention to detail.</li><li>
Strong verbal and written communication skills.</li></ul>

Proficiency in resolving workplace issues effectively.</li><li>
Ability to read blueprints and understand technical plans and drawings.</li><li>

Supervisor - 2nd Shift

<div>Position Summary:

This position will create mechanical prints using AutoCAD and manage bill of materials through our ERP system for various production projects, including industrial silos, waste hauling tanks, and custom bins. This role involves reviewing specifications and data to develop mechanical layouts, collaborating with sales, engineers, and clients to understand project requirements, and working closely with manufacturing to improve processes and resolve issues. Additionally, you will coordinate with purchasing to specify materials for projects. Success in this role requires a continuous-improvement mindset, a positive attitude, and exceptional attention to detail. 


Responsibilities:
<ul><li>
Collaborate with sales, engineering, and clients to understand the requirements for new projects or mechanical systems.</li><li>
Utilize CAD software to plan and develop models and shop prints based on determined materials and specifications.</li><li>
Partner with manufacturing to implement improvements and resolve issues.</li><li>
Work in a team-based environment to bring projects from concept to completion.</li><li>
Adhere to strict safety regulations.</li><li>
Assist with additional projects as needed.</li></ul> 


Qualifications:
<ul><li>
Associate&rsquo;s degree in mechanical design or equivalent required.</li><li>
Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of AutoDesk Inventor is a plus.</li><li>
2 &ndash; 3 years of experience, preferably in a fast-paced engineering environment.</li><li>
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.</li><li>
Knowledge of fabricated metal products is advantageous.</li></ul>
