FRONT OFFICE RECEPTIONIST (MALE)Entity: KAY HospitalityDepartment: HospitalityReports To: Manager / SupervisorLocation: Ras Al Khaimah, UAEEmployment Type: Full-timeROLE PURPOSEThe Receptionist is responsible for delivering a professional and welcoming first point of contact for guests at the KAY Hospitality front desk, managing check-in/check-out, reservations, guest inquiries, and front office administration to ensure a smooth and positive guest experience.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES<ul><li>Welcome guests warmly, manage check-in and check-out procedures accurately and efficiently.</li><li>Handle reservations (walk-in, phone, OTA/online) and update the Property Management System (PMS) accordingly.</li><li>Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly, escalating to the Duty Manager/Supervisor where required.</li><li>Process guest payments, deposits, and folios accurately, issuing receipts in line with cash handling procedures.</li><li>Coordinate with Housekeeping and Maintenance on room status, readiness, and guest requests.</li><li>Maintain accurate guest records, registration cards, and ID/passport documentation in line with company and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Handle incoming calls, emails, and messages professionally, directing them to the appropriate department.</li><li>Monitor and report daily occupancy, arrivals, departures, and revenue figures to Management as required.</li><li>Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the front desk and lobby area.</li><li>Follow all front office SOPs, including night audit procedures and shift handover reports, as assigned.</li></ul>QUALIFICATIONS &amp; EXPERIENCE<ul><li>Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field preferred.</li><li>Minimum 1&ndash;2 years of experience in a Front Office/Receptionist role within a hotel, serviced apartment, or hospitality environment.</li><li>Familiarity with hotel PMS systems (e.g., Opera, or similar) is an advantage.</li></ul>SKILLS &amp; COMPETENCIES<ul><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and welcoming manner.</li><li>Strong command of spoken and written English; additional languages (Arabic, Hindi, etc.) an advantage.</li><li>Good computer literacy, including MS Office and PMS/reservation systems.</li><li>Strong attention to detail, particularly in cash handling, billing, and guest documentation.</li><li>Ability to remain calm, courteous, and solution-oriented when handling guest concerns.</li><li>Well-groomed, presentable, and able to always represent the KAY Hospitality brand professionally.</li></ul>WORK CONDITIONS<ul><li>Shift-based role, including night shifts, weekends, and public holidays as per roster.</li><li>Front-facing role requiring extended periods of standing at the front desk.</li></ul>Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per monthWork Location: In person
