Majis delivers water and wastewater utility services to industrial zones.A Mechanical Technician at Majis works in industrial water treatment and utility plants, maintaining equipment that supports major industries in Sohar Port and Freezone.Core Responsibilities:Maintenance &amp; RepairMaintain and repair mechanical equipment such as:PumpsValvesMotorsCompressorsPipelines and rotating equipmentPerform preventive and corrective maintenanceTroubleshootingDiagnose mechanical faults in plant systemsIdentify causes of breakdownsRepair or replace faulty componentsPlant Operations SupportSupport operation of:Water treatment plantsDesalination systemsWastewater treatment facilitiesAssist operators during shutdowns and start-upsInspection &amp; MonitoringConduct routine inspections of equipmentMonitor system performance and vibration/pressure issuesReport abnormalities to engineers or supervisorsSafety Compliance Follow strict HSE (Health, Safety &amp; Environment) proceduresWork under permit-to-work systems (PTW)Use proper PPE and safety standardsSupport safe operations in chemical/water treatment environmentsRequirements:Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field3&ndash;5+ years experience in industrial maintenance or utilitiesKnowledge of:Pumps and rotating equipmentPreventive maintenance systemsIndustrial safety proceduresBasic English communication (Arabic is a plus)Pay: From RO650.000 per monthWork Location: In person
