JOB DESCRIPTION: </b><b>TEAMS SCIENCE, MATHEMATICS, OR COMPUER SCIENCE TEACHER</b></p>
<p><b>
Qualifications:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Must hold a valid Alabama professional educator certificate in middle level or secondary science, mathematics, or computer science.</li>
<li>Must teach full time approved science, mathematics or computer science courses in grades 6-12 with the appropriate certificate endorsement.</li>
<li>Must currently hold an advanced credential form either STEM Education or National Board for Professional Teaching Standards (NBPTS) in science; or dependent upon teaching experience level, obtain a specialized certification or credential within 3 years.</li></ul><br>

<p><b>
Essential Duties</b>:</p>
<ul>
<li>Create a science program and classroom environment favorable to learning and personal growth.</li>
<li>Plan and implement lessons based on curriculum objectives and the needs and abilities of students.</li>
<li>Provide high quality instruction in the area of science or computer science.</li>
<li>Provide opportunities for students to work on real world problems in the areas of science, mathematics, and/or computer science.</li>
<li>Document student progress by maintaining and submitting appropriate records and reports.</li>
<li>Assess student progress on a regular basis and in accordance with the system&rsquo;s established procedures.</li>
<li>Analyze different data sources in making data-driven decisions for instruction.</li>
<li>Actively participate and work with school/district personnel in planning effective instructional goals, objectives, methods, and curriculum.</li>
<li>Participate in professional growth and development activities as required or assigned.</li>
<li>Establish effective rapport with students.</li>
<li>Motivate students to develop skills, attitudes, and knowledge needed to provide a good educational foundation.</li>
<li>Utilize technology to motivate students and prepare students for 21st century</li>
<li>Participate in school-related activities that enhance teacher, student, parent, and community relations.</li>
<li>Fulfill the professional development requirements as outlined by the ALSDE.</li>
<li>Assist in the selection of books, equipment and other instructional materials when applicable.</li>
<li>Make reasonable provisions for being available to students and parents for education-related purposes such as conferences.</li>
<li>Use correct grammar in written and oral communication.</li>
<li>Establish a positive relationship with students, parents, co-workers, volunteers, and other stakeholders.</li>
<li>Abide by the Code of Ethics standards established for teachers&rsquo; professional and personal conduct.</li>
<li>Perform other duties as assigned by the principal.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Bookkeeper - Elementary School - 222 days</b></p>
<p><b>
Essential Duties:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Perform basic administrative functions including creating business correspondence, memorandums, informational packages, instructional job aids and reports.</li>
<li>Assist with scheduling and maintaining school calendar.</li>
<li>Greet and directs visitors and answer and routes calls as needed.</li>
<li>Maintain electronic filing systems.</li>
<li>Enter and maintain data using district databases pertaining to students and staff.</li>
<li>Maintain inventory of office supplies as needed.</li>
<li>Accounts payable functions such as paying bills, creating journal entries, and managing purchase orders.</li>
<li>Draft budget vs. actual reports for administration and other stakeholders.</li>
<li>Monitor student accounts and respond to parent&rsquo;s inquiries.</li>
<li>Manage petty cash accounts and cash boxes as needed.</li>
<li>Complete other related projects and tasks as needed and/or assigned.</li>

<p><b>Minimum Qualifications:</b></p>

<li>High school diploma or GED equivalent<b>.</b></li>
<li>1-2 years related experience in an office environment with bookkeeping experience.</li>
<li>Experience in school operations is preferred.
