This role will help plan and execute social media content, coordinate influencer and media outreach, and manage day-to-day communication across digital platforms. The ideal candidate combines strong creative instincts with excellent communication skills and a proactive, organized approach.Key ResponsibilitiesSocial Media Management<ul><li>Assist in planning, creating, and posting content across social platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube, and LinkedIn.</li><li>Write engaging captions, schedule posts, and ensure all content aligns with brand voice and messaging.</li><li>Monitor social media channels daily&mdash;responding to comments, messages, and engaging with followers.</li><li>Track performance metrics and provide insights to improve reach, engagement, and follower growth.</li><li>Stay current on social media trends, emerging platforms, viral content, and competitors.</li></ul>Community Engagement<ul><li>Build strong relationships with our online community by responding to customer questions, product inquiries, and comments.</li><li>Identify opportunities for brand engagement through hashtags, user-generated content, and partnerships.</li><li>Support crisis communication or customer issue escalations when needed.</li></ul>Public Relations &amp; Media Outreach<ul><li>Assist with PR planning, press releases, media lists, and editorial calendar updates.</li><li>Research and identify media outlets, journalists, editors, and influencers relevant to brand initiatives.</li><li>Coordinate sample sends, press kits, product seeding, and follow-up communications.</li><li>Track coverage, compile press reports, and maintain media contact databases.</li></ul>Influencer &amp; Ambassador Coordination<ul><li>Identify, vet, and reach out to influencers and content creators that align with the brand.</li><li>Coordinate gifting, collaborations, and campaign deliverables.</li><li>Manage influencer communication, contracts (if applicable), and performance tracking.</li><li>Build ongoing relationships with creators to support long-term partnerships.</li></ul>Content Support<ul><li>Assist in planning photoshoots, video content, and campaign creative needs.</li><li>Help gather, organize, and archive digital assets and UGC for future use.</li><li>Collaborate with design, product, and marketing teams to ensure cohesive creative execution.</li></ul>Event &amp; Campaign Support<ul><li>Support PR events, launch events, trade shows, and brand activations.</li><li>Help prepare materials such as media kits, event briefs, and promotional content.</li><li>Assist with real-time social coverage during events or collaborations.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Marketing, Communications, PR, Journalism, or related field.</li><li>1&ndash;3+ years of experience in social media, PR, influencer marketing, or digital marketing.</li><li>Strong writing, editing, and communication skills with an eye for detail.</li><li>Proficient in social media platforms and scheduling tools (e.g., Later, Sprout, Hootsuite).</li><li>Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Creative mindset with understanding of visual storytelling and brand aesthetics.</li><li>Comfortable being both collaborative and independent in daily responsibilities.</li></ul>Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)<ul><li>Experience in beauty, cosmetics, fashion, or consumer brands.</li><li>Basic photo/video editing skills (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut).</li><li>Existing relationships with influencers or media contacts.</li><li>Experience with PR tools (Meltwater, Cision) or influencer platforms (GRIN, Aspire).</li><li>On-camera confidence for TikTok or behind-the-scenes content creation.</li></ul>Pay: $25.00 - $33.00 per hourExpected hours: 37.5 per weekBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Employee discount</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person

This role is responsible for building, executing, and optimizing campaigns across all digital channels to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue.
