 Job Description &ndash; EPC Procurement Manager
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 OiLSERV is currently recruiting for an EPC Procurement Manager with extensive experience in the Oil and Gas industry for ADNOC Projects to be based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
 
 
 
 
 
 Responsibilities
 
 
 
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Subcontract and Procurement Procedures and Work Practices
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain the Project Procurement &amp; Subcontract Execution Plan
 </li>
 <li>
 Update and maintain Project Supplier Lists
 </li>
 <li>
 Check that supervised personnel carry out assigned duties in accordance with job descriptions
 </li>
 <li>
 Input all progress data to Supply Chain Management System and ensure these are up to date
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop contacts with Suppliers' personnel. Maintain the respect of Suppliers and their representatives by adherence to code of conduct and business ethics, corporate policies, procedures and work practices
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain awareness of the materials supply situation including sources, price levels and current deliveries. Advise of possible new sources of supply
 </li>
 <li>
 When requested contribute to current and projected price and delivery trends
 </li>
 <li>
 When requested carry out spare parts co-ordination activities in accordance with the Project Procurement Execution Plan
 </li>
 <li>
 Manages, directs, and supports others engaged in the full range of supply chain activities, while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, and relevant reporting requirements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Accountable for the successful set up and delivery of all project supply chain processes, procedures, and activities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensures all supply chain activities are carried out in accordance with the project execution plan/schedule and/or contracting strategy, within approved budgets and in line with project processes and procedures.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare and issue the project specific procurement execution plan and/or contracting strategy, and contract schedule in line with project scope including the application and association of computerized systems
 </li>
 <li>
 Establish and manage the project / procurement tracking report (PTR) in line with project / client required on site dates and current / estimate lead times, notifying any delays to the project
 </li>
 <li>
 Establish and chair regular PTR meetings with client, procurement, engineering and/or project management personnel to ensure dates for pre-order deliverables are being maintained
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Qualifications
 
 
 
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in business or engineering (or similar)
 </li>
 <li>
 Minimum 25 years&rsquo; working experience on Oil and Gas projects
 </li>
 <li>
 Project purchasing experience with minimum 10 years&rsquo; experience in the same role in an ADNOC project
 </li>
 <li>
 Direct purchasing on a global basis
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to prepare negotiation strategies / techniques and participate / lead negotiations
 </li>
 <li>
 Good knowledge of project procurement execution (start to finish)
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Good knowledge of Oil and Gas supply chain or related supply chain
