The Master Craftsman is a highly skilled field professional and subject matter expert in commercial and industrial painting and coatings. This role represents the top level of craft expertise &mdash; responsible for maintaining exceptional standards of safety, quality, and production.
A successful Master Craftsman consistently performs at or above the company&rsquo;s maximum production standard, demonstrates leadership through training and mentoring others, and models the company&rsquo;s mission and values on every jobsite.
This role is ideal for experienced craftworkers who combine technical mastery with teamwork, dependability, and a strong desire to contribute to the development of others.
<h3 class="jobSectionHeader">Basic Qualifications</h3>
<ul><li>Minimum 4 years of general painting experience
</li><li>Minimum 2 years of commercial or industrial painting/coatings experience
</li><li>Ability to drive company truck and trailer (certification preferred)
</li><li>OSHA 10 Certification preferred (may be obtained post-hire)
</li><li>Expert knowledge of materials, equipment, and jobsite safety procedures
</li><li>Strong communication skills with both customers and crew members
</li><li>Valid Driver&rsquo;s License, clean MVR, and reliable transportation
</li><li>Drug and alcohol screening required
</li><li>High school diploma or equivalent preferred, not required
</li><li>Completion of at least one industry certification (e.g., NCCER or equivalent)

<ul><li>Participate actively in company safety and health programs
</li><li>Report hazards, unsafe work practices, and incidents immediately to supervisors

</li><li>Follow all company, federal, state, and local safety regulations (including OSHA compliance)
</li><li>Conduct work safely and efficiently in accordance with company and client-specific safety standards

</li><li>Collaborate with supervisors and the Safety Department to identify and correct hazards

<ul><li>Ability to lift 15&ndash;50 lbs frequently
</li><li>Repetitive bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, and working with power tools or equipment
</li><li>Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
