 Commercial Director (Post Contract)

 landmark mixed-use real estate development in Riyadh

 This is a key strategic role, responsible for leading the
 
 post-contract commercial management
 
 of a large-scale, high-profile project that is shaping the future of urban living in Saudi Arabia.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Lead all
 
 post-contract commercial activities
 
 across multiple project components, ensuring value delivery, cost control, and contractual compliance.
 </li>
 <li>
 Oversee
 
 contract administration, claims, variations, change management
 
 , and
 
 commercial reporting
 
 .
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage and mentor a multidisciplinary commercial team, ensuring alignment with project goals and best practices.
 </li>
 <li>
 Work closely with project leadership, consultants, and contractors to ensure transparent communication and efficient contract execution.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide expert advice on
 
 commercial strategy, risk management
 
 , and
 
 financial performance
 
 .
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Key Requirements
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 
 Fluent in Arabic and English
 
 (spoken and written).
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Proven experience in post-contract commercial management
 
 , ideally on large-scale
 
 real estate or mixed-use developments
 
 .
 </li>
 <li>
 Minimum of
 
 12+ years&rsquo; experience
 
 in commercial, contracts, or quantity surveying roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
 </li>
 <li>
 MRICs accredited
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong understanding of
 
 FIDIC contracts
 
 , project governance, and cost control principles.
 </li>
 <li>
 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in
 
 Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
 
 ; RICS or equivalent professional accreditation preferred.
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
 </li>
