If you excel in fast-paced environments, have strong leadership skills, and are passionate about quality in reproductive medicine, we want to hear from you.This role oversees lab operations, quality control, staff supervision, regulatory compliance, inventory and resource management, cross-functional collaboration, and cryogenic shipping of preserved specimens.We have immediate openings and are building a team that truly loves what they do.ResponsibilitiesLaboratory Operations &amp; Quality Control<ul><li>Oversee all andrology laboratory procedures, including semen analysis, specimen processing, cryopreservation, and storage.</li><li>Ensure compliance with SOPs, FDA regulations, ASRM guidelines, and other applicable standards.</li><li>Maintain high-quality results through QC review, process validation, and corrective action.</li><li>Manage daily calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment.</li></ul>Staff Supervision &amp; Training<ul><li>Lead, mentor, and evaluate all laboratory and facility staff.</li><li>Develop and deliver training programs; conduct ongoing competency assessments.</li><li>Assign daily tasks, manage workflow, and maintain a safe, efficient, high-performing environment.</li></ul>Regulatory Compliance &amp; Documentation<ul><li>Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulatory requirements, including FDA.</li><li>Maintain accurate documentation, specimen records, and QC logs.</li><li>Prepare for and participate in inspections, audits, and proficiency testing.</li></ul>Inventory &amp; Resource Management<ul><li>Monitor all laboratory inventory, including reagents, media, consumables, and cryogenic supplies.</li><li>Coordinate timely and cost-efficient ordering with vendors.</li><li>Forecast supply needs and prevent production delays.</li></ul>Cross-Functional Collaboration<ul><li>Support donor recruitment, donor scheduling, and production planning.</li><li>Collaborate with medical, compliance, laboratory, and client services teams.</li><li>Provide technical expertise during clinical and operational discussions.</li><li>Oversee overall daily operations of the facility.</li></ul>Cryogenic Shipping &amp; Specimen Management<ul><li>Manage the preparation, documentation, and shipment of cryopreserved specimens.</li><li>Ensure all shipping activities comply with FDA, New York State (NYS), Colorado (CO), and other regulations.</li><li>Maintain shipping schedules for accurate, timely specimen delivery.</li><li>Perform quality assurance checks on dry shippers and cryogenic containers.</li><li>Monitor liquid nitrogen levels to support uninterrupted operations and specimen integrity.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in biology, reproductive sciences, medical technology, or related field (Master&rsquo;s preferred).</li><li>3&ndash;5 years of experience in an andrology or reproductive tissue laboratory, including at least 1&ndash;2 years in a supervisory role.</li><li>Strong knowledge of sperm processing, cryopreservation, and laboratory safety protocols.</li><li>Preferably 3+ years of sperm banking experience.</li><li>Proven experience maintaining FDA and state regulatory compliance.</li><li>Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.</li><li>Proficiency with LIMS and digital data-tracking tools.</li></ul>Compensation &amp; Benefits<ul><li>Salary: $90,000&ndash;$110,000 per year (based on experience)</li><li>Full-time position in a professional, mission-driven environment</li><li>Opportunities for growth as the practice expands</li></ul>How to ApplySubmit your resume and a brief cover letter through Indeed. This position requires collaborating with physicians, other medical providers, and donors by providing expert care and service for fertility treatment.We have immediate openings available and are looking to create a team that loves what they do. This is a full-time position with a pay range of $70000-90,000 per year based on experience. Come be part of our team and grow with us.How You&rsquo;ll Contribute:We always do whatever it takes, even if it isn&rsquo;t specifically our &ldquo;job.&rdquo; In general, the Andrology Laboratory Technician is responsible for:<ul><li>Senem analysis</li><li>Processing semen for IUI and ICI.</li><li>Cryopreservation of semen</li><li>Thawing of frozen specimens to evaluate survival.</li><li>Perform counts for concentration and motility, perform histological techniques for identifying leucocytes, immature germ cells and morphology.</li><li>Assure proper sample collection, delivery, and identification (chain of custody)</li><li>Perform daily/monthly quality control procedures for media and equipment used in the Andrology laboratory.</li><li>Assist laboratory personnel in performing lab services in accordance with Federal, State, and local laws and guidelines to ensure laboratory maintains accreditation.</li><li>Shipping, receiving and disposition of frozen samples.</li><li>Ordering and receiving lab supplies.</li></ul>What You'll Bring:<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree</li><li>3 years minimum experience as a laboratory technologist, 1+ years of specific andrology experience preferred.</li><li>Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer.</li><li>Knowledge of office procedures and office machines (i.e. computer, fax, copier, etc.)</li><li>Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.</li><li>Ability to communicate accurately and concisely.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills</li><li>Demonstrated expertise in continuous quality improvement, customer service, and team building.</li></ul>More important than the best skills, however, is the right person.
