Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Per Diem PM After Care Teacher to join our team. This role is essential in providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children during after-school hours. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and a strong background in early childhood education. You will be responsible for implementing educational activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development while ensuring the well-being of each child in your care.Responsibilities<ul><li>Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.</li><li>Supervise and interact with children in a positive manner to foster a supportive learning environment.</li><li>Manage classroom behavior effectively using appropriate behavior management techniques.</li><li>Provide individualized support for children with special needs or those requiring early intervention.</li><li>Facilitate literacy and math activities that promote foundational skills in young learners.</li><li>Ensure the safety and welfare of all children during after-care hours.</li><li>Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns.</li><li>Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning.</li><li>Collaborate with other staff members to enhance the overall educational experience for students.</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Strong background in early childhood education, including preschool experience and toddler care.</li><li>Experience with curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management.</li><li>Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management strategies.</li><li>Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.</li><li>Familiarity with standardized testing practices and early literacy education techniques.</li><li>Experience working with students in various educational settings such as daycare, private schools, or Montessori environments.</li><li>Proficiency in teaching physical education and promoting overall child welfare through active engagement.</li><li>A passion for nurturing children's growth through tutoring and personalized support.
