Our work includes trenching, pipeline installation, mechanical scopes, demolition, coating, corrosion mitigation, and facility maintenance for major utility and energy operators.We are seeking a dependable Coating &amp; Sandblasting Laborer who can perform industrial surface prep and coating work AND support the crew with general labor duties when coating tasks are not active.Position OverviewThis role involves assisting with sandblasting, surface preparation, and coating on pipelines, valves, and structural components &mdash; but also requires working as a general laborer between coating tasks. You must be comfortable with hands-on field labor, trenching support, cleanup, material handling, and jobsite tasks in addition to coating-specific work.Key Responsibilities - Coating &amp; Blasting Duties<ul><li>Perform sandblasting using abrasive blasting equipment</li><li>Prepare metal surfaces (cleaning, grinding, needle scaling, wire brushing)</li><li>Apply industrial coatings (epoxy, urethane, cold tar, FBE touch-up, etc.)</li><li>Mask/tarp areas and maintain controlled blasting environments</li><li>Mix and handle coatings safely and accurately</li></ul>General Labor Duties (Between Coating Work)<ul><li>Assist with trenching, backfill, compaction, and utility excavation</li><li>Help pipefitters, welders, and mechanical crews as needed</li><li>Load/unload tools, pipe, materials, and equipment</li><li>Jobsite housekeeping, sweeping, debris removal</li><li>Support demolition, saw-cutting, and cleanup operations</li><li>Operate basic hand tools and power tools</li><li>Assist with traffic control or spotter duties when required</li></ul>QualificationsRequired:<ul><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license</li><li>Able to lift 50&ndash;75 lbs</li><li>Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust, trenches, confined spaces</li><li>Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to follow instructions</li><li>Willing to perform both coating/blasting work and general labor</li></ul>Preferred:<ul><li>Industrial coating or sandblasting experience</li><li>Oil &amp; gas, pipeline, refinery, or utility gas background</li><li>OSHA 10, TWIC, MSHA, or safety certs</li><li>Familiarity with SSPC/NACE surface prep standards</li><li>Experience with grinders, blasting pots, air compressors</li></ul>Compensation$20 &ndash; $28/hour DOE Higher for candidates with industrial coating/blasting experience or active safety credentials.Work Environment<ul><li>Pipeline digs, valve stations, utility trenches</li><li>Refineries, terminals, compressor stations</li><li>Outdoor physical labor</li><li>Overtime and weekend opportunities depending on project load</li></ul>How to ApplySubmit your r&eacute;sum&eacute; to: Ryan@Ryancoconstruction.comPay: $24.92 - $30.01 per hourWork Location: In person

We support mid- to small-scale mechanical and civil projects, pipeline work, and specialty scopes for major operators and contractors. We are growing and seeking a qualified Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) to support QA/QC and compliance requirements on an as-needed basis.Role OverviewWe are looking for a knowledgeable, dependable CWI to support project weld inspections, procedure verification, documentation, and overall welding compliance on pipeline, mechanical, and structural scopes. This position is part-time / contract with flexible scheduling depending on project needs.Responsibilities<ul><li>Perform weld inspections per AWS/API/ASME codes</li><li>Review WPS, PQR, WQR documentation for compliance</li><li>Provide QA/QC oversight for pipeline, mechanical, and structural welding</li><li>Support project documentation packages and client compliance requirements</li><li>Assist in building Ryanco&rsquo;s internal QA/QC system and procedures</li><li>Provide on-call guidance or inspection support during active project phases</li><li>Generate clear and professional inspection reports</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) &mdash; active certification required</li><li>Experience with oil &amp; gas, utilities, pipeline, terminal, or industrial environments preferred</li><li>Familiarity with API 1104, ASME B31.1, B31.3, structural welding codes</li><li>Strong communication and documentation skills</li><li>Ability to work independently and professionally with clients on job sites</li><li>Must have valid driver&rsquo;s license and reliable transportation</li></ul>Compensation<ul><li>Competitive hourly rate based on experience (open to discussion)</li><li>Contract / 1099 structure</li><li>Flexible scheduling &mdash; project-based needs</li></ul>How to ApplyPlease submit your resume, certifications, and a brief summary of relevant project experience.
