 Trueline&rsquo;s client, a respected full-service law firm based in Long Beach, CA, is seeking a
 
 Litigation Associate
 
 to join their dynamic and collaborative litigation team.
 
 
 
 What You'll Do as the Litigation Associate:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 
 Manage all phases of litigation including case strategy, pleadings, discovery, depositions, motions, and trial prep across a diverse docket&mdash;especially personal injury and insurance defense.
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Conduct in-depth legal research and draft persuasive pleadings, motions, and discovery-related documents.
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Prepare and defend clients in depositions; take fact and expert witness depositions with strategic focus.
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Collaborate with attorneys and support staff on trial prep, site investigations, and evidentiary hearings.
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 Must-Haves as the Litigation Associate:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 
 Active California Bar license, in good standing.
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Minimum 3 years of litigation experience, ideally including insurance defense or personal injury matters.
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Excellent legal writing, analytical, and communication skills.
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Proficient in legal research tools and case management platforms (e.g., NetDocuments, Centerbase).
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Ability to prioritize multiple matters independently while remaining a strong team player.
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 Nice-to-Haves as the Litigation Associate:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 
 Background in complex litigation or other areas such as corporate or construction law.
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Hands-on trial experience or courtroom advocacy background.
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Enthusiasm for mentorship, professional development, and long-term firm growth.
 
 </li>
 </ul>

 Competitive salary range of $140,000&ndash;$200,000, plus profit-sharing potential.
