The Utilization Coordinator reviews system reposts to determine state or program compliance or change in state or program guidelines. Improves and monitors process/workflows and serves as a liaison between Revenue Cycle Health Informatics (HI) and program staff. Examine documents to identify noncompliance with state policies and procedures.</p><br>

</p><p><b>Duties &amp; Responsibilities:</b></p>
<ul><li>
Provides support, feedback, training, and monitoring related to the completion, correction, submission and appeals of clinical/programmatic requests for service authorizations.
</li><li>Manages assigned Revenue Cycle tickets.</li><li>
Prepares reports to track authorizations, failed claims/activities, and to perform additional Electronic Health Record monitoring and provide recommendations for program improvements</li><li>
Identifies trends, areas of improvement and provides training for program staff as needed</li><li>
Collaborates with Revenue Cycle, HI and program staff in the development and monitoring of corrective action plans, as assigned</li><li>
Provides support and coverage, as needed within the Revenue Cycle team</li><li>
Provides follow up support for program staff to assess training needs and coordinate with Program Managers/Directors to facilitate additional support/training</li><li>
Attends agency and statewide meetings as needed</li><li>
Monitors Revenue Cycle support requests for trends in Carelogic errors and collaborates with Revenue Cycle, HI and UM to develop training materials and workflows for staff</li><li>
Monitors unresolved errors and notify clinical and billing staff immediately of corrections needed to ensure compliance, corrections and training needs are met</li><li>
Share information with responsible clinician/supervisor and assist in formulating plans for correction/training. Assists staff 1:1 as needed to correct isolated problems.
</li><li>Maintains a good working relationship with physicians/clinicians/admin support/business office and others to keep them informed about rules and regulations.
</li><li>Acknowledges and responds to requests for information or support in a timely manner.
</li><li>Attends regular agency and program staff meetings to disseminate information and provides support.</li><li>
Knowledgeable in documentation and service coordination standards.</li><li>

Minimum Qualifications:</b></p>
<p>
High School Diploma or GED with three (3) year experience in a technical job related to the area of assignment. May require a valid driver's license.</p><br>

Preferred Qualifications:</b></div><br>
<div></div>
<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or closely related field AND 2 years of professional experience in a Behavioral Health/Addictive Disease/Intellectual Developmental Disabilities setting.
</li><li>Performs daily tasks with minimal supervision.</li><li>
Knowledge of DBHDD provider manual and guidelines.</li><li>
Proficient use of CareLogic or other Electronic Health Record systems.
</li><li>Proficient understanding of authorization processes.
</li><li>Proficient use of Microsoft applications (Excel, Power Point).
</li><li>Ability to multi-task and initiative to solve problems.</li><li>
Ability to work well in a team environment and independently.
</li><li>Experience working with Microsoft Excel Spreadsheets</li><li>
Excellent communication, time management, and attendance skills</li></ul></div></div><p></p><div><div><br>

As a member of the Training and Professional Development Department and under the direct supervision of the Manager, this position will serve as the trainer to support professional development and learning activities. Training Specialist will be responsible for the facilitation, co-facilitation, preparation/review/revision of materials for various trainings and projects and will work in close collaboration with Human Resources/Talent Management, Health Informatics and other View Point Health departments/teams to determine training needs.</p><br>

</b></p><p><b>Duties &amp; Responsibilities:</b></p>
<ul><li>
Facilitates staff learning opportunities through a variety of delivery methods including classroom instruction, virtual training, handouts/written tools, and presentations.</li><li>
 Assists with coordination and facilitation of training for new employees onboarding which includes but is not limited, resolving email and phone inquiries, coordination of training schedules and associated materials (e.g., workbooks, handouts, etc.).</li><li>
Provides ongoing training support and technical guidance for all electronic platforms (e.g., Relias, HR employee system) and all other training related needs for new and existing employees.</li><li>
Monitors assigned and expired/expiring training certificates to maintain training records.</li><li>
Collaborates with team to develop training aids such as manuals, presentations, and handouts.</li><li>
Educates employees and supervisors about training options.</li><li>
Serves as primary or lead trainer for assigned curriculums (e.g., CPI, Driver Improvement).</li><li>
Track and report on training outcomes.</li><li>
Provide feedback to program participants and management.</li><li>
Evaluate and make recommendations on training materials and methodology.</li><li>
Collaborates with leadership on the strategic and training plans.</li><li>
Additional related duties as assigned.</li></ul><br>

Preferred Qualifications:
</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree from an accredited college or university in public health or behavioral health related field.</li><li>
One to three (1-3) years of professional experience developing and facilitating training and/or providing education through instruction.</li><li>
Experience in resources development of educational content and facilitation of presentations using multimedia and related training tools or software that support various types of learners.</li></ul><br>
