Job Duties:&middot; Assisting with the planning, design, and implementation of manufacturing processes for Aluminum &amp; Composite Vessels from 20'-65'&middot; Partners with production leadership to develop and execute manufacturing strategies that meet schedule, quality, and cost objectives.&middot; Prepares and reviews plans, technical drawings, and process documentation to ensure alignment with engineering and client specifications.&middot; Ensures compliance with ABYC, USCG, Department of Defense (DoD) regulations, DFARS, ITAR, and other applicable marine standards.&middot; Manage process optimization efforts including workflow analysis, tooling design, and equipment selection to improve efficiency and reduce waste.&middot; Supports cost estimation, production scheduling, and materials planning in coordination with sales and operations team.&middot; Maintains strong quality control practices, including root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.&middot; Coordinates with designers, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure technical requirements are met.&middot; Supports production staff and technicians.Requirements:&middot; Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.&middot; Strong understanding of marine manufacturing requirements and quality standards.&middot; Proficiency in creating and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and engineering data.&middot; High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.&middot; Ability to work collaboratively with engineering, sales, operations, and project management teams.Education and Experience:&middot; Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in mechanical, industrial, manufacturing engineering, or related field required&middot; At least 3 years of production engineering experience in marine manufacturing, defense, aerospace, or transportation industries preferred.&middot; Prior experience in boat building a plus.Job Type: Full-timePay: $68,000.00 - $85,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Edenton, NC 27932 (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Relocate:<ul><li>Edenton, NC 27932: Relocate before starting work (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
