This person will be ultimately responsible for the strategic direction, health, and growth of a defined book of business. Accounts may be solely managed by the Account Supervisor or led strategically while partnering with Account Executives who manage day-to-day execution. This role includes team leadership and management responsibilities, overseeing up to five direct reports within a pod structure. The ideal candidate is a confident strategist, trusted client partner, strong communicator, and empowering leader who thrives in a fast-paced, purpose-driven marketing environment.JOB DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIESClient Leadership &amp; Strategy<ul><li>Serve as the senior strategic lead for assigned accounts, ensuring alignment between client objectives and agency execution.</li><li>Lead and own overall account health, retention, satisfaction, and growth targets.</li><li>Lead annual and quarterly planning initiatives, identifying opportunities for expansion and improved performance.</li><li>Demonstrate a deep understanding of each client&rsquo;s business, competitive landscape, and marketing strategy.</li><li>Provide executive-level guidance during client meetings, presentations, and strategic reviews.</li><li>Proactively identify new revenue opportunities within existing accounts.</li></ul>Financial &amp; Performance Oversight<ul><li>Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and billing accuracy across assigned accounts &ndash; bearing responsibility for the overall profitability and financial health of the account.</li><li>Ensure marketing plans are structured to meet performance goals while maintaining profitability.</li><li>Monitor KPIs and collaborate with internal teams to continuously optimize performance.</li><li>Ensure scopes of work are maintained and expanded appropriately.</li></ul>Team Leadership &amp; Management<ul><li>Directly manage and mentor up to five (Senior) Account Executives and/or Coordinators.</li><li>Provide coaching, performance feedback, and professional development guidance.</li><li>Ensure pod-team structure operates efficiently and collaboratively.</li><li>Step in to support escalations, problem-solving, and high-level client communications when needed.</li><li>Foster a culture of accountability, growth, and excellence within the team.</li></ul>Cross-Functional Collaboration<ul><li>Partner closely with Creative, Web, Social, and Media teams to ensure strategy is clearly communicated and executed flawlessly.</li><li>Maintain visibility across all projects to anticipate risks and remove roadblocks.</li><li>Elevate the quality of work across all marketing channels.</li><li>Maintain a sense of humor. This person will support multiple accounts within Wingspan&rsquo;s portfolio of clients and provide guidance for a team of Account Executives, Account Coordinators, and Interns. We are in need of someone who is interested in purpose-driven marketing and who can be a trusted partner to our clients and agency team &ndash; garnered from rich experience, confidence in strategic oversight, leadership, and ability to build depth in client relationships. This role will report directly to either our Director of Account Services or Account Supervisor.JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES<ul><li>Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients across various accounts, as well as agency counterparts on the Creative, Web and Social teams.</li><li>Owns and demonstrates confidence and authority as the day-to-day voice of agency team and can confidently answer client/team questions.</li><li>Initiates and facilitates weekly status calls.</li><li>Provides project management on all projects including prioritizing and setting expectations on deliverables.</li><li>Develops and maintains monthly marketing plans and billing schedules to meet client marketing objectives, working closely with clients to create additional/improved lead generating opportunities.</li><li>Able to demonstrate big picture understanding of client's marketing strategy and can communicate insights/tactics to meet marketing objectives.</li><li>Measures and continually identifies ways to improve tactical efforts across all platforms</li><li>Provides detailed reporting and budget oversight for clients.</li><li>Multiple channel management (branding, digital, social, website and media) to ensure deadlines are met.</li><li>Consistently collaborate with team members throughout the work process to foster, facilitate and consistently deliver great work that is on strategy, on time, and on budget.</li><li>Willing to go above and beyond to delight our clients and deliver excellent customer service.</li><li>Maintain a sense of humor.
