Account Executive

WingspanRPM is an independent and creatively driven full-service marketing agency with offices in Louisville and Lexington, Kentucky. Since we're in the business of growth, we're looking for an experienced Account Executive to provide key account support for our talented team. This person will support multiple accounts within Wingspan’s portfolio of clients and provide guidance for a team of Account Executives, Account Coordinators, and Interns. We are in need of someone who is interested in purpose-driven marketing and who can be a trusted partner to our clients and agency team – garnered from rich experience, confidence in strategic oversight, leadership, and ability to build depth in client relationships. This role will report directly to either our Director of Account Services or Account Supervisor.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients across various accounts, as well as agency counterparts on the Creative, Web and Social teams.
  • Owns and demonstrates confidence and authority as the day-to-day voice of agency team and can confidently answer client/team questions.
  • Initiates and facilitates weekly status calls.
  • Provides project management on all projects including prioritizing and setting expectations on deliverables.
  • Develops and maintains monthly marketing plans and billing schedules to meet client marketing objectives, working closely with clients to create additional/improved lead generating opportunities.
  • Able to demonstrate big picture understanding of client's marketing strategy and can communicate insights/tactics to meet marketing objectives.
  • Measures and continually identifies ways to improve tactical efforts across all platforms
  • Provides detailed reporting and budget oversight for clients.
  • Multiple channel management (branding, digital, social, website and media) to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Consistently collaborate with team members throughout the work process to foster, facilitate and consistently deliver great work that is on strategy, on time, and on budget.
  • Willing to go above and beyond to delight our clients and deliver excellent customer service.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • BS or BA in Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, Communications (or related field) preferred or equivalent of 3-5 years in marketing or creative agency environment.
  • Proven experience as an Account Executive in marketing or agency environment or in similar field
  • Possess excellent analytical skills, be result oriented with strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent proofreading skills
  • Knowledge of marketing terms, budgets, methodology and mediums
  • Experience interacting with clients, managing timelines, and maintaining project budgets
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and independently deliver work
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships
  • Experience in Healthcare and/or Food & Beverage preferred.
  • Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; ability to learn project management software or experience with ClickUp and messaging systems, such as Slack
  • Enthusiastic and passionate

Travel may be required on a per-client-needed basis and to/from our offices in Louisville and Lexington.
