AZ is a Saudi professional valuation and advisory firm delivering defensible, audit‑ready valuation reports for decision‑makers across financing, investment, transactions, and governance. We operate in alignment with TAQEEM requirements and apply IVS; where relevant, we support IFRS‑related valuation work (e.g., IFRS 13 / IAS 36 / PPA context).

The Role

We are hiring a hands‑on Senior Business Valuation Specialist to lead end‑to‑end business valuation engagements (operating companies, SMEs, and intangibles) and help us scale quality and speed through strong valuation operations (templates, QA, evidence discipline, approvals, and report issuance workflow).

What You Will Deliver (Core Outcomes)

• Lead valuation engagements from

scope → data request → analysis/modeling → report drafting → client/auditor Q&A.

• Build robust valuation models (income/market/cost approaches as applicable), including WACC, terminal value, sensitivities, and scenarios.

• Produce clear, defensible valuation reports aligned with IVS and relevant IFRS context (as applicable), written for reviewers and decision‑makers.

• Maintain an “audit trail mindset”: evidence packs, assumptions discipline, and transparent rationale.

• Improve delivery quality and cycle time by strengthening valuation operations: templates, report structures, QA checklists, data request packs, and standardized workflows.

• Partner with our internal digital/analytics team to translate valuation delivery needs into practical workflow improvements and automation (report templates, approval gates, evidence capture, controlled revisions).

Must‑Have (We Will Screen For This)

• 5+ years in business valuation/valuation advisory with direct ownership of report writing (not modeling only).

• Demonstrated experience delivering IVS‑aligned valuation reports for external stakeholders (banks, auditors, investors, boards).

• Strong command of valuation approaches (income/market approach/cost approach) and professional documentation of assumptions.

• Excellent Arabic & English (reports, emails, presentations).

• Able to work full‑time on‑site in Riyadh (or relocate immediately).

• TAQEEM membership in Business Valuation is preferred. If not available, you must show clear eligibility and a credible plan/timeline to obtain it.

Strong Advantage

• Big 4 / global valuation advisory / corporate finance background.

• Intangibles valuation exposure (brands, customer relationships, technology, licenses, franchise rights, etc.).

• Experience improving valuation delivery operations (templates, QA workflow, evidence standards, report issuance discipline).

• Power BI / SQL / Python (plus), or demonstrated analytical automation mindset.
