What You'll Be Doing
- Safely operate a dump truck to transport aggregate, asphalt, or other construction materials to and from job sites.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and promptly report maintenance needs.
- Load, transport, and unload materials while following company safety policies and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members.
- Support operational efficiency by ensuring timely deliveries and promoting a positive customer experience.
What Are We Looking For
- Valid Class A Driver License
- Demonstrated ability to safely operate commercial vehicles and equipment in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
- Ability to perform inspections, identify potential issues, and take appropriate action.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills with a customer-focused mindset.
- Capability to work independently, manage priorities, and adapt to changing operational needs.
Conditions of Employment
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
Work Environment
- Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
