Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with educational standards and cater to various learning styles.
• Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively, employing strategies that promote respect and responsibility among students.
• Assess student progress through standardized testing and ongoing evaluations, adjusting teaching methods as necessary.
• Provide individualized support for students with special needs through early intervention strategies.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress, behavior, and classroom activities.
• Collaborate with other educators to enhance curriculum development and share best practices in teaching methodologies.
• Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and practices.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required
• Proven experience working with children in an educational setting, including preschool or daycare environments.
• Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management techniques.
• Familiarity with literacy education, math concepts, and physical education teaching methods.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
