JOB SUMMARY
Will be responsible for designing cabinetry drawings for customer presentation and
Installation drawings using 2020 program. Teamwork is essential as you will be working directly.
with Sales Staff, Field supervisors, Installation Manager. Reports to Director of Operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Project Management, Design & Order Process

Identify, log, and track new projects from lot scrape to installation via portals, emails, phone & text.

Monitor and log job production status several times a week through various applications. i.e., builder portals, emails, phone & text. Not all builders use their portals.

Gather documents needed through various applications to prepare measure packs to send to the field. (Selection sheets, color sheets, option sheets, cabinet details, floorplans & elevations, PO, price quotes, etc.)

Review documents for accuracy and missing information related to builder specific cabinet line-ups, hardware finish availability/specs, countertops, appliances, option & custom design, and PO pricing - Communication with designers, purchasing departments, builders, and salesman if there are any issues or discrepancies. Follow-ups and documentation needed for any changes.

Prepare measure packs – Create lot specific cabinet designs based off builder selections, options, and customization to ensure field personnel has all information needed to perform an accurate measure; providing lot specific floorplans, cabinet selections, vent centers, apron sinks, built out fridge, stacked cabinets, crown, bump ups, island wraps, utility sinks w/out cabinet, island change, etc.

Email the complete measure pack to our field personnel pointing out the measure date, builder contact, options, vent center location and any other important information needed.

Follow up with field personnel and builder if measures aren’t received back in a timely manner to ensure we stay on track with the builder timelines.
Begin the order process once a measure is received.

Review documents via builder portals and emails to ensure no changes have been made since the measure pack was created and sent out. Obtain documentation, make any changes needed, communicate any paperwork/selection issues.

Review measure sheets. Communicate any issues with the builder (framing, plumbing, vent locations, return walls, etc.). Communicate any return trips needed to our field personnel.

Make 2020/cabinet layout adjustments needed based off measure sheets and correspondence from builder.

Ensure cabinet layouts and elevations have necessary notes. Provide details and diagrams for cabinet installation. i.e., appliance cutouts, diagrams, wine fridge specs, bump out notes, custom design notes, etc.

Create cabinet order material list(s). Ensure accuracy for cabinet selections, quantities and sizes needed for crown, stacked cabinets, décor doors, paneling, toe kick, shoe, scribe, and any other cabinet materials needed.

Create cover sheet including accuracy for cabinet, countertop and hardware selections, quantities and any plywood/cleats/studs needed for various cabinet designs for a complete cabinet installation. Additional information and materials needed for chase boxes and wood hoods.

Obtain and provide an accurate delivery and installation date from builder and ensure dates are met to the best of our ability.

Create job specific installation pay sheet.

Combine all documents needed to create and submit a complete cabinet order.

Create installation packs to include all cabinet layout(s), top layout(s), elevation(s), diagrams, and builder specific installation checklists.

Submit order to Share drive and log order status.

Review and approve order once received (from Lani). Inform them of any discrepancies or changes that need to be made.

Ensure all job documents are uploaded to the Share Drive in their appropriate files.

Key in installation figures to Cabinet Trac order file and add installation pack documents.

Own job through completion of cabinet installation. Add on and builder changes after initial installation.

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, or other email applications.
