2D Animator

Key Responsibilities

• Create 2D animations for characters, objects, and backgrounds based on project requirements.

• Develop storyboards, concept sketches, and animatics to visualize animation sequences.

• Collaborate with designers, illustrators, and other team members to ensure consistent visual style.

• Apply principles of animation (timing, spacing, squash & stretch, etc.) to produce smooth and appealing motion.

• Edit and refine animations based on feedback from directors and clients.

• Ensure final output meets technical specifications and deadlines.

• Stay updated with the latest trends and techniques in 2D animation.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Animation, Fine Arts, Multimedia, or related field (preferred).

• Proven experience as a 2D Animator or in a similar role.

• Proficiency in industry-standard software (Adobe Animate, Toon Boom Harmony, After Effects, Photoshop, etc.).

• Strong drawing skills and understanding of animation principles.

• Creativity, attention to detail, and ability to work under tight deadlines.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.
