2D-Animator

Objective

As a 2D animator, you will be responsible for creating animations for our web and mobile applications. You will collaborate with project teams, including other animators, to animate 2D characters, props, and backgrounds that will appear in campaigns for multiple clients.

Responsibilities

A 2D animator will hold the following responsibilities in our agency:

• Review and adhere to project briefs, goals, and deadlines
• Create 2-dimensional storyboards and animation sequences
• Create and animate characters and objects using visual effects and shapes, sizes, and colors
• Implement precise timing and motion for a cohesive, smooth finished animation
• Follow and learn the latest 2D animation software and technology
• Be receptive to feedback and provide prompt revisions and edits
• Collaborate with art directors, graphic designers, storyboard artists, multimedia artists, and other team members to create a finished story and product

Job qualifications and skill sets

We’re seeking an animator with the following qualifications and skills:

• A Bachelor’s degree in computer animation, graphic design, fine arts, or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience as an animator
• Demonstrable character animation skills and a strong portfolio
• Proficiency with 2D animation tools
