2d Draugtsman for Kitchen Showroom

Job Responsibilities

• Drafting and Detailing: Prepare precise and detailed 2D shop drawings, production drawings, and installation drawings for various joinery items such as kitchen cabinets, wardrobes, doors, wall panels, and custom furniture using CAD software, primarily AutoCAD.
• Interpretation and Translation: Review and interpret architectural drawings, sketches, and design briefs from clients and designers, translating them into accurate, fabrication-ready technical details.
• Material and Quantity Estimation: Prepare detailed material lists, hardware schedules, and clear technical instructions to support the production team.
• Coordination and Communication: Collaborate closely with project managers, designers, site engineers, and factory personnel to ensure drawing feasibility, address technical queries, and support adherence to project timelines.
• Revisions and Documentation: Update and revise drawings based on client feedback or site conditions. Conduct site visits when required to verify measurements and ensure drawing accuracy.
• Quality Control and Compliance: Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, industry standards, safety regulations, and internal quality control procedures.
• Kitchen Order Verification: Before placing orders with Keller or any other kitchen brand, cross-check quantities, sizes, and orientations of kitchen components against the approved shop drawings and blockwork drawings.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
